John Wayne was an American actor.
History[edit]
After Maude died, Homer asked Ned why Maude should not be dating in Heaven, as the place is full of eligible bachelors, like John Wayne, Tupac Shakur, and Sherlock Holmes. Ned chuckled and told Homer that Sherlock Holmes is a character. Homer, misinterpreting this, said he sure is and made an erotic growl.[1]
When Abe was in the war and his girlfriend was Lola Bonanza, he received a letter from Bonanza stating that she had cheated on him with Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart, John Wayne, Gabby Hayes, and Shemp Howard.[2]

After Homer was sent to Hell, Satan started to give him noogies and then asked him to stop yelling because he would wake up John Wayne, who it turned out had already gotten up.[3]
