With 10 Chapters statewide, our members encourage the study of bird life, actively participate in conservation and habitat preservation issues of the day and invite and encourage others to join our organization. NOTE: Volume 1 of The Migrant was published in mimeographed form on 8.5x11 inch paper with two columns of print on one side of each sheet. Number 1 was published in June, Number 2 was published in September, and a combined Number 3-4 was published in December. Original copies of Volume 1 are scarce and a commemorative facsimile edition was published for the 50th anniversary of the TOS in 1975. In 1973 Volume 1 was reprinted in the same format as later volumes. The articles available here are reproduced from the original Volume 1. |
