Lots of reflections on the still water downstream from dam.
sharing with James for Weekend Reflections
Cowbirds/Grackles?
I have no idea, but they sure are loud in the tree tops
and when incoming to our field.
Ever hypervigilant, and always a bit psychotic.
My son Michael sent this video to me.
Squirrels are such a nuisance, but I thought they are so cute!
Rats with tails, I guess, but still. :)

The Grackles do have a blue-green head, looks pretty in the sunlight. Pretty reflection photo. The squirrel video is cute.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
we love our squirrels, and they know they are safe, and will sit as close as 4 feet away from us. Beau doens't bother critters, none. they will be on the ground when he goes out and keep digging their holes to hide their acorns. or peanuts they get from somewhere. I do know critters can cause big problems and that we are blessed they have not so far.
We don't get grackles over here, but I've seen some red-winged blackbirds lately. They travel i large groups when migrating.
Wow!
I love squirrels! They are not pests, like rats and mice.
Wow that's a lot of birds.
I'm not a fan of squirrels or chipmunks. Though cute they can to a lot of damage.
Beautiful reflections, and that's a lot of birds.
Squirrels quite often visit the garden here, I know not everyone likes them but it can be fun watching their antics.
Enjoy your weekend.
All the best Jan
Oh Terri, I do not like the squirrels. Rats with tails is exactly right, and I have a dreadful fear of rats and mice. The squirrels are on my lawn every day digging holes in the grass and storing their nuts for winter. That's a pretty picture of the reflection in the water. So many birds!
Wishing you wonderful December days.
