Fpart is a tool that helps you sort file trees and pack them into bags (called "partitions"). It is developped in C and available under the BSD license. It splits a list of directories and file trees into a certain number of partitions, trying to produce partitions with the same size and number of files. It can also produce partitions with a given number of files or a limited size. Once generated, partitions are either printed as file lists to stdout (default) or to files. Those lists can then be used by third party programs. Fpart also includes a live mode, which allows it to crawl very large filesystems and produce partitions in live. Hooks are available to act on those partitions (e.g. immediatly start a transfer using rsync(1)) without having to wait for the filesystem traversal job to be finished. Used this way, fpart can be seen as a powerful data migration tool.

At this point this project is mainly wpkg which is a replica of dpkg and apt-get that works under Microsoft Windows and Unices. Since version 0.7.0 it works very nicely as it includes most of the important functionality of dpkg (i.e. most everything except dselect functions.) Otherwise, the Unix GNU Windows is expected to be a large set of packages that wpkg can handle. Packages of all the software available under MinGW and GnuWin32 so you can painlessly build a complete Unix like environment under Microsoft Windows.

Cracx allows you to crack archive passwords of any encryption using 7-zip, WinRAR or a custom command, via Brute Force or Dictionary attack. Note: You must NOT use this program with files you don't have the rights to extract/open/use them! Currently, the program requires a current version of either 7-zip or WinRAR to be installed, but you can also use it to bruteforce basically anything that is executably via command-line with custom parameters. Simply-Scripted Backup is a lightweight utility for performing backups. It does a straight copy of files and folders (when the source is newer than the backup) and optionally stores the old backup file versions under a time-stamped folder. It can also clean the backup by deleting (or optionally moving to a time-stamped folder) files and folders that no longer appear in the source. As an additional feature, the backup can be compared with the source, including a byte-for-byte comparison of all the files. All backup tasks can be specified with a script (see the wiki for details), or by using the GUI. The backup process can also be paused and resumed.
