An open source RDP server
xrdp provides a graphical login to remote machines using RDP (Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol). xrdp accepts connections from a variety of RDP clients: FreeRDP, rdesktop, NeutrinoRDP and Microsoft Remote Desktop Client (for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android). As Windows-to-Windows Remote Desktop can, xrdp supports not only graphics remoting but also two-way clipboard transfer (text, bitmap, file), audio redirection, drive redirection (mount local client drives on a remote machine). Connect to a Linux desktop using RDP from anywhere (requires xorgxrdp Xorg module). Reconnect to an existing session. Session resizing (both on-connect and on-the-fly). RDP/VNC proxy (connect to another RDP/VNC server via xrdp). xrdp primarily targets GNU/Linux operating system. x86 (including x86-64) and ARM processors are most mature architecture to run xrdp on. Most Linux distributions should distribute the latest release of xrdp in their repository. -

jq
Lightweight and flexible command-line JSON processor
jq is like sed for JSON data - you can use it to slice, filter, map and transform structured data with the same ease that sed, awk, grep and friends let you play with text. jq is written in portable C, and it has zero runtime dependencies. You can download a single binary, scp it to a far away machine of the same type, and expect it to work. jq can mangle the data format that you have into the one that you want with very little effort, and the program to do so is often shorter and simpler than you'd expect. Data in jq is represented as streams of JSON values - every jq expression runs for each value in its input stream, and can produce any number of values to its output stream. jq filters run on a stream of JSON data. The input to jq is parsed as a sequence of whitespace-separated JSON values which are passed through the provided filter one at a time. The output(s) of the filter are written to standard out, again as a sequence of whitespace-separated JSON data. -

The nanomsg library is a simple high-performance implementation of several "scalability protocols". These scalability protocols are lightweight messaging protocols that can be used to solve a number of very common messaging patterns, such as request/reply, publish/subscribe, surveyor/respondent, and so forth. These protocols can run over a variety of transports such as TCP, UNIX sockets, and even WebSocket. This pattern is useful for solving producer/consumer problems, including load-balancing. Messages flow from the push side to the pull side. If multiple peers are connected, the pattern attempts to distribute fairly. nanomsg is a socket library that provides several common communication patterns. It aims to make the networking layer fast, scalable, and easy to use. Implemented in C, it works on a wide range of operating systems with no further dependencies. The communication patterns, also called "scalability protocols", are basic blocks for building distributed systems. -

JSON output plugin for changeset extraction
wal2json is an output plugin for logical decoding. It means that the plugin have access to tuples produced by INSERT and UPDATE. Also, UPDATE/DELETE old row versions can be accessed depending on the configured replica identity. Changes can be consumed using the streaming protocol (logical replication slots) or by a special SQL API. format version 1 produces a JSON object per transaction. All of the new/old tuples are available in the JSON object. Also, there are options to include properties such as transaction timestamp, schema-qualified, data types, and transaction ids. format version 2 produces a JSON object per tuple. Optional JSON object for beginning and end of transaction. Also, there are a variety of options to include properties. -
