miniHomer is a GPS tracker based on a skyTraq GPS chip. This tools helps you to manage the device if you use Linux as your favourite Operating System. As the tool is written in QT/jquey/HTML/javascript, there is a good change that it will run on other OSes. Experimental GPS navigation application for ultralight aircrafts, using as hardware a vehicular and inexpensive TomTom navigator. The program, given a GPX flight plan, is able to provide navigation indications using an HSI along the route up to the final destination.

Convert user-saved tracks from GPS-Tracks for iPhone to KML files for Google Earth. The GPS-Tracks iPhone application is available from the App Store or from http://www.gps-tracks.com . It can save recorded GPS tracks to the iPhone storage. This little Java applet provides the functionality to convert these saved tracks to KML files, for use with Google earth. Under Windows, it uses the synced files from the iTunes phone files backup, and extracts the tracks from there. Under Linux, it uses the virtual file system provided by libgpod (which provides an iPhone-gvfs-bridge) and gvfs-fuse (which offers gvfs virtual filesystems as Linux FUSE filesystems). Please note that this app is rather rudimentary. If you run into problems, please open a ticket to describe the issue; time permitting, I'll try to fix it.

The aim of this project is to create a full utility suite for NMEA protocols (best known from GPS devices). First goal is a full implemenation of the NMEA 0183 protocol 3.0 (without proprietary extensions). The library provides parsers for NMEA sentences, gpsd-like network daemons and data generators for simulation and testing. This allows advanced sensor handling from cellphones/tablets/laptops with GPS up to vehicles/ships with NMEA sensors on board.
