miniHomer is a GPS tracker based on a skyTraq GPS chip. This tools helps you to manage the device if you use Linux as your favourite Operating System. As the tool is written in QT/jquey/HTML/javascript, there is a good change that it will run on other OSes. Substitutes the missing GPS information in Garmin TCX files when devices lacking a GPS receiver are used to collect training data (Garmin FR 60, heartrate and pedometer only). GpxTcxWelder integrates GPS info from a GPX v1.1 files into TCX files

Convert a "line string" from a .kml file to a "route" in another .kml file. I started this project to use google maps for routing at home and a very simple GPS-device for following the route while on the road.

Converts kml files (Google Earth) to wpt format (OziExplorer waypoint file). Written in Python, thus you'll need a Python interpreter to run the soft.

The aim of this project is to create a full utility suite for NMEA protocols (best known from GPS devices). First goal is a full implemenation of the NMEA 0183 protocol 3.0 (without proprietary extensions). The library provides parsers for NMEA sentences, gpsd-like network daemons and data generators for simulation and testing. This allows advanced sensor handling from cellphones/tablets/laptops with GPS up to vehicles/ships with NMEA sensors on board.
