Hammill's career has spanned over 20 LPs and his fans include ageing hippies, young punks, experimentalists and straight pop fans. This will please the last lot; a fairly straight lament, sung in quaking tones. Leaves you sobbing (sniff). (Paul Bursche, No 1, June 1, 1985)
