Contributor's note:  Richard Maunder's completion omits much of the familiar material introduced by Süssmayr in his completion, notably the Sanctus and Benedictus, rewriting the end of the Lacrimosa and adding the 'Amen' fugue discovered in the 1960s and which has as its subject an inversion of the Requiem's opening theme.
