Mascot, Twin Arch Bridge

An illuminated Twin Arch Bridge, which carries Airport Drive over Alexandra Canal between the eastern suburb of Mascot and the inner west suburb of Tempe. It is part of the new Sydney Gateway road interchange built in 2024 to link the Sydney International Airport to the Sydney Domestic Airport and the M8 Motorway.

Mascot, bridge

A cyclist travels on the bridge which carries the walkway and bicycle track over Alexandra Canal from Tempe to Mascot. This view is towards the Sydney Airport Domestic Terminal and the higher bridge on the left carries Airport Drive traffic over the canal.

Napoleon Bridge is a footbridge over Sussex Street linking Napoleon Street to Shipwrights Walk in Barangaroo.

Napoleon Bridge, escalators

These escalators and stairs are at the end of Shipwrights Walk in Barangaroo leading to Napoleon Bridge, a footbridge over Sussex Street, linking to Napoleon Street. The bridge was designed by Wilkinson Eyre and Arupand and opened in 2015.

Arncliffe, Princes Highway, footbridge

A view of the footbridge over the Princes Highway in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. The highway was carved out of sandstone and footpaths have been created on either side. The bridge is located between Arncliffe Public School and St Xaviers Catholic School, allowing students and pedestrians to safely cross over the six lane road.

Georges River, barge

This barge is moored in the Georges River, viewed from a wharf in the southern suburb of Sylvania. The barge with industrial equipment can be hired for excavation, dredging and construction work. The Captain Cook Bridge which links Taren Point to Sans Souci is in the distance.

Lilyfield Road Footbridge

 
These planter boxes and benches are on the Lilyfield Road Footbridge in the inner west suburb of Lilyfield. The bridge once carried cars over Hawthorne Canal where it connects to the Paramatta River. It was built in 1965, linking Lilyfield Road to Dobroyd Parade, but was replaced by a new canal crossing as part of the City West Link in 2000. This bridge was converted to a greenway with a path for pedestrians and a track for cyclists on either side.

Campbells Cove, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Vivid Sydney

The Sydney Harbour Bridge illuminated for the Vivid Sydney Festival which ran from 22 May to 13 June 2026. This view across Campbells Cove was from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at The Rocks. Various light installations were also installed along the shore of Sydney Harbour such as "Dear You", a message in a bottle which reads "Welcome to Sydney, where your story begins". "Beyond the Overlay" are mesmerising projections inspired by the bright, bold designs of the Bauhaus movement.

Sydney Harbour Bridge, Vivid Sydney

The Sydney Harbour Bridge illuminated for the Vivid Sydney Festival which ran from 22 May to 13 June 2026. Vivid Sydney Festival is the annual celebration of creativity, innovation and technology. This view towards the Overseas Passenger Terminal was from Circular Quay railway station above the Circular Quay ferry wharves.

Birchgrove, ferry

Birchgrove ferry wharf is located at the end of Louisa Road, in Yurulbin Park, in the inner west suburb of Birchgrove. The Fishburn is a First Fleet Class ferry acquired in 1985, which is part of the Sydney Ferries fleet which operates on the Inner Harbour. It was named Fishburn, after one of eleven ships of the First Fleet that sailed to Australia in 1787.

This pontoon is located beside Dover Park boat ramp, close to the Kogarah Bay Sailing Club in the southern suburb of Blakehurst. The Captain Cook Bridge can be seen in the distance, across Kogarah Bay.

This footbridge is located  at the South Head peninsula, in the eastern suburb of Watsons Bay. It links the Hornby Lighthouse to this lighthouse keeper's cottage in the Sydney Harbour National Park.

Tom Uglys Bridge, Georges River

A late afternoon view of Tom Uglys Bridge which crosses the Georges River and links the southern suburbs of Blakehurst and Sylvania. This view is from a boat ramp at the Sylvania end between the truss bridge on the left, which opened in 1929 and the box girder bridge on the right, which opened in 1987.
