To make my card today I have used the following products:-

I started by popping a panel of white cardstock in my Misti and using the Swiss Dots stamp set I did a rainbow of stamping using blue, yellow and pink inks and slightly overlapping them.  I adhered this to my card base.  I took a second white panel and used the A2 Frames Die to create the skinny frame and with the inside cut I trimmed it to create a grounding for the scene.  The frame and ground were glued in position.

Using the new Curled Fern Frond Die and some pastel cardstock I die cut the three fronds and glued them to the dotted background.

I stamped the adorable Jenoblade illustrated Birthday Dragons images that I was needing for my little scene and coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Blue - BG32, BG11, BG0000
Pink - RV02, RV10, RV0000
Yellow - YR21, E50, Y00
Shading areas with - C3, C1, C00
Blush - R22, R21, R20, R00

I fussy cut the images and using either a single or double layer of foam tape so they really jump out at you (not in a bad way lol) I adhered them to the background.

To complete the card I used one of the two sentiments included in the Birthday Dragons stamp set.  I stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in gold and applied the strip to the card with foam tape.

A few sparkling clear sequins and some white gel pen highlights completed the project.

Thanks so much for coming by my blog today, I hope you like my card and feel inspired. There will be a second blog hop tomorrow so do look out for that and happy shopping!

Simon Says Stamp - Moments In Time Release

Hi there everyone, thank you for visiting my blog today to get a look at my first card from the brand new 'Moments In Time' release from Simon Say Stamp.  The release went live at midnight and so is already available for purchase.  If you'd like to go directly to all of the products in the new release, use THIS LINK.

My card today features the following Simon Says Stamp products:-

I took an A2 panel of minty green cardstock and I used the A2 Frames Die to die cut it.  I then used the same die from the set to die cut a frame of the same dimensions from white cardstock.  I glued the outer frame to my card base, the inserted the white frame.  With the main centre panel I ink blended using Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink and I loosened some more of the ink with a drop or two of water and spattered it over the surface.  This panel was then glued to the card base.

I ink blended some white cardstock using Rustic Wilderness, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks.  I then die cut fern fronds using the beautiful new Curled Fern Frond Die.  I then spattered on some of the Rustic Wilderness just as I had with the background.

I played around with the fronds until I found an arrangement I was happy with and then using a combination of glue and some itty bitty pieces of dimensional foam tape, I adhered the fronds in position and gently teased up some of the leaves for added dimension.

I used the new Giggle Hello Die to die cut white cardstock several times over and then one last time with silver glitter cardstock.  I glued the hellos in stacks and decided on a centre location for the word, adhering it in position.

Keeping it simple, I finished the card by adding a few metallic silver dots into the background using a gel pen because they catch the light and sparkle when the card is handled, just like the sentiment does.

Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back tomorrow with something new from the Moments In Time release.
