Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 12 - Stripes

I recycled the holographic nails done here, put on some stripes and hey presto a new manicure.

Pink Vintage Roses, Stripes and Bling!

I am on a catch up with my manicures.  This was worn wayyyy back in April (looking at the date it was three weeks ago today, wow I am late in posting this).  Anyway, vintage flower manicures are all the rage at the moment and I love this technique.  It is so easy.  I was trawling my way through the world wide web and I came across so many but this particular one just called to me and I just had to do it.  Only on the original there was more "bling" on the ring accent nail and the roses were on the middle and index finger, I changed it a little. I would like the thank the original person for their inspiration but for the life of me I can't find the person responsible. I have looked through pages of my pins, my history and just plain google searches for almost a week now, so, if you recognise my description or know who you are please let me know.

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 11 - Polka Dots

Day 11 (week 11) of the ER31DC - Polks Dots
Again this was done a few days before the "chop"  I really liked how this turned out, I wore it for almost 3 whole days!  Would have worn it for a lot longer but I had to cut my nails down. I didn't realise until I put on the NI polish, that it was a jelly!  A nice surprise.

Nomadic Nude on the Beach!

I was trying to think of a title for this post and all the time the title was in the polish names!
This is a manicure I wore way back in April (see my nails are longer) simple nude with a hint of colour.

Chop, Chop, Chop - Shorter Nails

I cut and filed my nails down yesterday.  I didn't use to like them this short but the last couple of months I have preferred them this length.  Anyway there will be posts coming where my nails are longer, these post were done and photographed prior to the chop (I think there are 3).

Dreamcatcher Nails

I am going to catch up this week with some nails I have worn in April but never got round to putting on my blog.
I am though going to start with nails my daughter did way back at the beginning of April - her Dreamcatcher nail art.  It took her ages to do and the result is outstanding.  I can't remember which colours and make she used suffice to say she also used black acrylic paint.

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 10 - Gradient

I am on time this week, I have had this ready all week (straight after my rainbow debacle!). This took me about 10 minutes for the gradient itself (love that). I used acrylic paint, straight onto the sponge and onto the nail, painted on the feathers, black tip using my new Fragrance Direct purchase W7- Black, top coat and they you go..... (BTW this is my version of this manicure I saw ages ago).

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 9 - Rainbow

Day 9 (week 9) of the ER31DC - Rainbow.
LATE again..  life and works takes over and posts are late yet again.  But this is the manicure I did for the Rainbow challenge.  I painted on a white base first and then put the colours straight onto the sponge and onto the nail, one coat only followed by a top coat.
As soon as I had done this, I hated.  I think if I had done it with the red at the free edge, I might have liked it. Alas I did not have the time to take it off and put something else on and I didn't have the nerve to have bare nails!  Needless to say, this came off within 24 hours!

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 8 - Metallic

Day 8 (week 8) of the ER31DC - Metallic.
So sorry for posting this so late.  First of I did it late (Sunday), and then I got so busy at work I just did not have time to post.  But here it is at last.  I also ordered from Frangance Direct, and used two of my new Sally Hansen lacquers.  I've not used SH before and found the brush quite nice (square) I used two coats here but I did find that it needed longer to dry (hence the nicks and dents on my middle finger).  Perhaps I need to be more patient!  Any hoot lovely colours and I can't wait to try the others I orders. (Will do a haul post later).

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 7 - Black and White

Day 7 (week 7) of the ER31DC - Black and White.
This was an easy'ish manicure to do.  I taped off the bottom half and painted my nails from the cuticle in white.  Took off the tape and painted the bottom half with black.  Using black and white acrylic paint, I painted on the three lines using opposite colours, a coat of SV and voila......

Day 6 (week 6) of the ER31DC - VIOLET. This week the theme is violet.  I am lacking inspiration so went searching the web and came across this striking manicure. She is a brilliant nail artist, go check her out on youtube.  Anyway here is my violet take on this one.
