Big Baby

It has been a LONG time since I have seen David sleeping. He is awake when I put him down and awake when I get him up. The other day I had to pick up Paul right in the middle of his nap...so it was a treat to watch him snooze away. It seems that he has GROWN up so much lately. Here he is sleeping like a baby, but look at how big he is.

Sold it

This is a perfect time to sell things on ebay. March 25-31st all insertions fees are $.01, if you list the starting price for $.99 or lower. I have had good and bad luck with selling things on ebay...mostly good. Make sure you list your shipping price correctly and explain special instructions (payment options, etc.). I sold the camera Eden threw in the bathtub for $50 (I also included the battery and cables with it...which obviously helped the item). Still, you never know what you have that could bring you a little extra cash. Happy selling!

Crib talk

This is what Paul heard this morning:
David: "No"
Eden: "Day-Day, be happy!"
David: "No"
Eden: "Don't be No, be happy."

Easter weekend

The weather was great! Paul put in a temporary fence, to keep the kids in and the dogs out.
Three legged race at the ward activity
Gathering eggs at the city egg hunt.

Maybe next year they won't be scared.

Like many of you, Sunday morning was a rush so this is the best one I got.

I love you babe.

(sorry, it is 3 years...just lost my mind for a moment)

A little touch

I saw this easy craft ideas on someones blog for clothes, bags, covers...anything! I went in the attic and pulled out some little onsies they give you at the hospital...I about died when I realized how small they are. Just going through David's clothes reminded me of how little and precious he was...I can see why it is so hard to give up your kids newborn clothes. Anyway, with a little adhesive sticky stuff I got from the fabric store and some quick stitching around the border...super cute. I think it is the perfect little touch for kids. Just giving you some ideas as I know Baby Shower season is coming up!

Zoo

On one of the most beautiful days of the year so far we headed to the zoo. David kept us entertained in the car. They loved the ducks.
Eden discovered the pretzels and as you can see is occupied stuffing her face.

It was a fun day, Paul and I were exhausted. Next time we will have a better routine...this time we brought the stroller in at first. However the kids wanted to run around, so the first couple hours were spent chasing two kids going in opposite directions and keeping tabs on the empty stroller. Then after lunch we left the stroller in the car...little did we realize that everyone would be exhausted which was a catastrophe trying to get back to the car without everyone having a melt down. All in all it was a successful day, we will be back to the zoo soon!

Messy...

kids are always so CUTE. We have been trying to get David to say new words. He will mimic words and we clap and cheer for him. Yesterday I was changing his diaper and said, "did you go poop?". He looked at me and said, "poop". He clapped and I cheered for him. He then proceeded to go over to Paul and say "poop". The funniest was to see David clap and cheer for himself, he is always the most enthusiastic about his accomplishment.
This week is Spring Break. Paul informed me that he has to finish a brief...boring! Hopefully we will make it to the zoo and do a few other fun things.

Yoga Pants

I saw these yoga pants on Oprah. Old Navy: $16.50. The lady was wearing them with a simple yellow t-shirt, some ballet flats and a cute bag. She was darling and ready to hit the town..well, at least the store and school. Now I want a pair! Any pants that have an elastic waist that designers say is fabulous catches my attention. Does anyone have them? Do you love them? Would you wear them out, or are they strictly work out pants?

Sunday afternoon

We went to the University and walked around, it was perfect weather. I think this picture describes each of them perfectly.
Eden -scowling and saying, "I don't want to".
Abby - smiling for the camera
Sarah - as cute as can be trying to pick up David
David - trying to get away so he can run around.

The moon was out a little early this evening!
