Pretty in Pink

Good morning my dear follower, I've got a tutorial to share with you today using some amazing Polkadoodles products. It is quite photo heavy so you might want to get a cuppa and a cake to get you through it.

To start with I used the two largest dies from the Posydoodles basics circle dies.
I then used a distress ink and dusting brush to add some colour around the edge of the largest circle.
I then used the same ink and a black one mixed with some water and created some splashes onto the second circle die cut.
I then did the same onto a 14.5cm square piece of card. And used a grey fine liner pen to create a border with by drawing some squiggly lines.
I mounted everything onto 3D foam and put onto a 15cm square card blank.
I fussy cut the fabulous Flamingo image from one of my favourite Polkadoodles collections, the amazing Winnie In Wonderland, and mounted onto 3D foam and placed in the centre of the card. I then added a bow, some stamens and some die cut flowers to finish the card off. The flowers are cut using the Polkadoodles Bubbleicious Frames die set.
And here is the finished card.
I hope you like it. See you soon for another make.

A little bit Alice

Good morning a very happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog the team were challenged to make something using more than one image and here is my make.
Yes once again I've used the fabulous Winnie In Wonderland collection. You can also buy this collection in smaller sets and individual items HERE. I've matted one of the backing papers onto some teal card and the same with the two images. I've cut out lots of embellies and glued some onto the card flat, and mounted some onto 3D foam. The two topppers and beautiful Flamingo are also mounted onto 3D foam, as is the sentiment.
Now don't forget as always to go to the BLOG to grab today's discount code and check out my teamies makes.

Special Birthdays

Good morning and a very, very happy
Today over at the Digi Choosday blog we are celebrating "Special Birthday's".
"Why was that theme chosen?" I hear you ask, well, it's a certain someones 50th birthday this coming Saturday. Yep, you guessed it, I will be 50 magnificent years old (young) on Saturday. I've been looking forward to this for so long, and planning my party for about a year now. I can't show you all the things I've made yet but I will do after the event. My unbirthday surely will be a frabjous event. I just hope the Jaberwocky doesn't fly in an cause havoc. And I do hope the Tweedles don't send people off in the wrong direction to Trotters Bottom, or the ghastly Salezen Grum. Oh and I hope my cake isn't Upelkuchen. And if anyone has a Bandersnatch please leave it tied up outside, I wouldn't want them to get hurt while we are all doing the Futterwacken!
So, onto today's make. Seeing as my party has a Mad Hatter's Tea Party these I have (once again) used the fabulous Winnie In Wonderland collection. I have covered these cardboard numbers using one of the backing papers, I covered them with a black acrylic paint first. I then slightly distressed the edges by lightly sanding them, then added some faux stitching with a white pen. I then printed and fussy cut lots and lots of images and embellies out. I laid them all in place on the numbers, moving them around until I was happy with them, and then glued them all in place, and there you have it. I will put these in the middle of the food table I think.

Here they are individually so you can see them closer.

Righto, I'll be back soon, another year older, but probably not wiser!
Now don't forget to pop over to the team blog to check out my fabulous teamies makes, and of course to grab your massive discount code for today.

Use a design sheet

Good morning, I'm here today with a make for the Polkadoodles challenge blog. The challenge for you as always is Anything Goes, but for this challenge the team were asked to use a design sheet and here is my make.
I've used design sheet 5 from the Winnie In Wonderland Collection. This card is an 8x8 one so it shows how much you get on these design sheets and that they work perfectly with any size card you want to make.

Ribbon or lace

Good morning and Happy Digi Choosday to you all.
This week over at the blog the team were challenged to use some ribbon or lace and here is my make.

To make this colourful tag I ink up some white linen card and then cut it in the shape of a tag. I added a squiggly line around the edges to frame it. I then fussy cut some left  over elements from a Winnie In Wonderland design sheet I used to make a card and mounted them onto the tag using 3D foam. Then I finished it off by adding some sparkly ribbon. So on this tag there are 2 faux ribbon bows and the real ribbon at the top.

Ribbon or Lace

Good morning everyone. It's already time for another challenge from us at the Polkadoodles challenge blog. This week the team were challenged to use Ribbon or Lace and here is my make.

I used a circle die to create and circular easel card. I used lots of elements from the Winnie in Wonderland collection on this card. This really is one of my all time favourite collections in case you hadn't noticed! I used the small frame die from the Bubbleicious Frames die set to cut out Sydney the White Rabbit. I fussy cut all the embellies and mounted them onto the card using 3D foam. I added some extra interest with the sprig die and the flowers 2 dies. Finally I used some crushed silk ribbon and a jewelled gem to finish it all off.

Autumn Colours

Good morning all. I'm here today with my make for the Polkadoodles blog. The challenge we have this time is to use Autumn colours, and here is my make.
I have used the frabjous Winnie In Wonderland Collection CD to make  this. You can also get this in a download format HERE, and in smaller separate items HERE.
I have used Tweedledee image twice here. I put one onto my page and then added a second and flipped it so you then have Tweedledum as well. I coloured them with my Graph'It Markers. I used 2 papers that I distressed and inked the edges of. I then printed and fussy cut lots of embellies and inked all the edges red before mounting on 3D foam and sticking in place.

Ribbon and lace

Good Morning and Happy Choosday everyone, and that of course means that it is
as well. So after you're done here don't forget to go over to the Digi Choosday blog to grab the code and of course check out my talented teamies makes.
The challenge for you is of course anything goes but for the team this week the challenge is to use either ribbon or lace, or both, and here is my make.

I used the amazing Winnie In Wonderland collection to create this gatefold card. You can buy this in smaller kits HERE if you don't want the full kit, but why wouldn't you, it's amazing!
So I chose a paper and matted onto black card for the front, then chose a paper and digitally cut a heart frame out for the inside to write a message on. I also matted this onto black card. I then chose my images, the red Queen and the White Rabbit and printed them out 4 times so I could decoupage them. I then printed out some embellie. I made the decoupage up and mounted all the embellies onto 3D foam to give the card dimension. I then added real bows over the printed ones on the right hand side, and added an extra ribbon triple bow over the playing cards.
This is the inside of the card.

And here are a few close ups of the dimension I got with the decoupage.
I printed everything for this onto matt photo paper so the colours stand out more.

 And finally the bows.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
