Summer Week 5
[1] Fun weekend. Finally. I was way tired of staying home, and felt less guilty about ditching the pups for a day, since Pompei got neutered and is on "house arrest". So Rebekah and I went to Panera and talked and talked, then to McKay's Bookstore, and the mall for some splurging fun. :) I finally found some white shoes at Payless.. I may have to return them for now, so I can make it through the week, but its breaking my heart! I also finally got around to using my Areopostle gift card, which Roomie gave to me at Christmas.. I know, I know.
[2] After all that spending, I came to the sad realization that I was broke, and still have another week before payday. So Sunday I spent a lot of the day budgeting, planning what have you. I really really need to save some monies, cause I really really really really really really really want another car. Like real bad.
[3] Umm...listing my Canon Rebel xti on Ebay. Good bye Camera, you were good too me but its time for to find a new home. Works great, but I like my Sony a lot better, the colors on it are so much better SOOC. 3 out of 4 pics on here were took with Sony can you tell which one was with a different camera? Also listing my school books as well. Finally.
[4] My life is ridiculously boring right now. If you can't tell.
[5] Summer Projects: About me Scrapbook, Daily Photo, Photobook for Rei's handler, photobook for Midnight's new family, and of course Pompei's scrapbook, and wittle down my 101 N 1001
[6] The job hunt has slowed down to a crawl. I really waiting to see them outcome of certain things going on here, before I move too a more active hunt, plus I'd really like to be a job more than well 8-12 months for once. Plus who says having a career in one field is fun anyhow? My roommate is trying to get to come work with her at her school for Special Ed. I'm tempted but scared, that I'm not qualified.
[7] Finished the Vampire Diaries series last night, how anti-climatic I can't believe it ended the way it did! ARGH!!!
[8] Re-Organized my closet Friday. I need more summer clothes still. I need money to buy more summer clothes. I need another job, so I can have extra money to purchase summe....you get the point.
[9] Baby my neighbor was babysitting
[10] Good Bye

The random ramblings of me in 140 characters.....
- Need to try and put new house together and finish cleaning old one. So much work, so little time. Guess I'd better get crackin' #
- Wondering when I'll ever find time to use 23 GBS of digi scrapbook stuff I have downloaded. Perhaps if I stopped downloading stuff.....Naaah #
- Hmm phone alarm decided to go back to work today. So much for that excuse :( #

...But I'm working on #23 and the weekend :)
#23 - Set A Strict Schedule for Puppy
I know this isn't my dog blog, but its kind of hard when they are like the 3rd most important things in my life right now (God, Work...Dogs).
After 4 puppies you start learning some tips and tricks of a little thing called potty training.
The dots represent 30 minutes
(Hour 1)
HOPEFULLY SLEEPING
I know a lot of you are going OMG, that is too much work..well ok don't get a puppy than, and two you don't HAVE to do that.....but its a WHOLE lot easier later on if you do. Think of all the stuff you are saving, and the valuables that won't get chewed up.
I have actually upped that schedule to giving him an hour of free time in the room with me, and than napping however long he will in his pen, however long he will. Which as it turns out, he's put himself on the 30 minute schedule, so even if I don't pen him, he's crashed by the heater or on a bed, or under something after about 15-30 minutes of playtime.
The only thing with having him loose, is that I have a greater risk of having my carpet peed on if I don't see him as soon as he gets up.
But ok enough about the dogs. That's what my other 4 blogs are for.....
__________________________________________________________________
5 days till school starts.....
And its the weekend. Finally! I have survied my first week of 2010! Let's hope the rest of the year doesn't go this "well". I think about 80% caught up on my sleep. Pompei is not screaming his way to tiredness anymore, but is still getting up in the middle of the night.
Since it started snowing on Thursday, I had to cancel all my puppy classes at the kennels today, due to the road conditions, so I got to spend the entire day at home with my puppies.I wanted to take a nap...that just didn't happen. Even still I'm planning on going to bed at ..10:30PM.
Yeah wish me luck, I'll need it. I am a night owl if there ever was one.
But I did get the majority of my To-Do list down. (YaY Me) And Scrapbooked Pompei's first couple of days with done....

And I think I might be ready for next week.
Anyway I trust you all had a great weekend, I'm off to wash dishes and go to bed.

I know this isn't my dog blog, but its kind of hard when they are like the 3rd most important things in my life right now (God, Work...Dogs).
After 4 puppies you start learning some tips and tricks of a little thing called potty training.
- Consistency. You have to do the same thing, every day the same way.
- Go out the same door to go potty, to the same spot...always sit to eat, or to go outside, or to get a treat etc..
- Confinement. Letting a 8wo puppy roam the entire house is ASKING for accidents.
- Mr.Pompeii is limited to my kitchen unless I'm going to get off the computer/stop whatever I'm doing and watch him. Right now I'm using baby-gates, but have purchased an x-pen so that he can have his area, with out confining the dogs that have earned their freedoms. And so I don't have to do the crazy baby-gate-hop every time I need to go into my kitchen!
- Crates - What would we do without them?
- With my first 3 pups, I struggled with using the crate, just because if felt mean. Now? Not so much. This morning I woke up, took Mr. Pompeii out to potty, than put him and his food in the crate while I got dressed, and fed the other dogs. Most puppies have to potty immediately after eating, and I knew I couldn't get him out that soon, so in the crate ya go.
The dots represent 30 minutes
(Hour 1)
- Pottying, Exercise and Play time
- Potty,Crate Games/Nap Time/Hang out by yourself time
HOPEFULLY SLEEPING
- Potty, Indoor Playtime
- Potty, X-Pen Time/Playtime

Summer time in East TN = Rain.
Or so it seems! My word all its done late is rain and storm, and I am soo over it already!!
Last week, I interviewed at UT Police Department for the position of "Web Master", basically I would be updating/maintaining their website, updating their Twitter and Facebook accounts..etc..
Well its been a week, and I haven't heard anything back from them.....is no news good news? I don't know! But I do know it would be cool to have some steadiness back in my life. But w/e.
In other news, Wilderwoods Graduation starts next week, as well as Vacation Bible School at our Church, so I will be kind of crazy to say the least...but at least with the graduation, I'll know what to expect and where we'll be going, so that will take out a little of the stress factor.
And the day Grad ends, Rebekah, Christina and I will head to sunny FLORIDA for a week of fun, and fellowship! WOOOT!!
BUSH GARDENS, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm super excited, as its been a while since I've gotten to travel, due to work. blegh. I probably more excited than normal, because I'm traveling down with my whole family. We'll be togethor once we get there, but we girls like to drive straight without the frequent....uh..."potty breaks".
After that we're back to life of training dogs, meeting with "my families" and preparing for the fall semestor. I've also started another photography blog, this one is permanant as of now, sort of my getting off the ground site.
I've had another blogs, but never really put much effort into them, but this time I'm feeling super motivated, and ready to start my "career" in photography.

Not a Slacker
Seriously I'm not!!! I am just without internet for the moment. My family has it at their house, but means I have to pack up a laptop, and trek up the hill with three dogs, so I can get online.
The house is about 85% the way I like it, and the other 10% is going to have to wait until another day. Timothy, is settling in and now that I've gotten some more insight, on working with these dogs, I starting to settle into my role as a trainer.
This week, I'm hoping to establish a routine, so that I can get my grades back above water. It was only two assignments, but after doing well, I'm loathe to let the slip anymore.
Despite having a job, I'm not near in a position to even START looking at another car, so I'm stuck driving my dad's car. His car is not bad, just it has its little issue...such as a loose battery cable.
That cable has driven me up the wall (no pun intended) these last couple of weeks; especially in the snow and cold, its annoying to have to pop the hood, wiggle the cable until the car cuts on, run around the door, climb in, turn the key, only to have it cut off again. Repeat above until car stays on.
SO ANNOYING!!!!
I counted..it took 10 tries onetime, to get the car started.
Finding the good in this situation: it keeps me from going out a lot, thus I'm saving money that might be spent if the car worked right!! And its better than having no car at all!!
Anyways, Here's some scrapbook pages I found time to put together, and we'll talk to you later!

Helllllooooo
Hey
Its been a while, I know. Sorry, I have a hard time writing about myself.
Since I last wrote, I have kept myself quite busy. Every year the young people at our church give a Holiday dinner for the rest of the congregation. This year was kind of bittersweet, because this was last year I would be able to participate; as next year we should be....not here.

This year we had it catered at big facility, which (I think) took the fun out of preparing the food our selves, but it was easier on the adults so we left it like it was. It was nice to get to sit and eat our food with everyone else. But we enjoy serving our "guests".

He's a 5-month-old miniature dachshund; amazingly enough, he and Bubbles a love each other, I'm still shocked that my dad let me keep him, but I really needed him to help me through Midnights leaving.
And although its been really hard to come up with a scrapbook layout lately,...heres what I've been able to produce:
As far as the move updates: well.....I sent my registration in to PSTCC, so we'll see what happens, My boss is putting in my notice for the second week in January. And I'm almost through furnishing my kitchen! If Only i could find some money for a new table, that would be awesome!!!
Well I need to go feed my neighbors cat, but I hope to be back soon to blog :D

Congratulations to Tesia and Josh on their wedding!! It was beautiful!! (I LOVED her dress)

We left from our home yesterday at 12:30 PM drove for 5 hours to Alabama, stayed for about three hours before starting home at 9:00PM and driving for another five hours back to North Carolina. My dad drove until 12:00-- then I drove from that time till 3:54 AM...switching off with my mother once we got to the mountains...cause she doesn't like driving that in the dark.
Spiked up on Mountian Dew..and Determination; we made it safe and sound.
THANK GOD.

I've never stayed home alone without a big dog in the house with me. So this weekend was interesting...kind of freaky actually. I know my nervousness was causing Bubbles to get very nervous as well; because she was running around and barking her head of constantly!
Its just been weird around here without her; I have a lot planned tomorrow..and its not as fun knowing I'll be going by myself. But according to both my leader and my R/A Midnights on her way back next week...? Huh? Ook... yeah that month went by SOO fast!!
But hey I'm not complaining!
Anyways ...to get this BACK OFF the dogs.... I did get a couple of LO's done today..YaY! I did try too upload them to a gallery...but it just wasn't working and I was running out of time. So anyways here's the ones I did.

I have just found out that Rei's partner has died this week. I am saddened and shocked by this.
Rei will be returning to the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, where she will be reevaluated and placed as with a new handler. If everything goes as it should. Who knows maybe I"ll get to go to this graduation!
Next week, I'm getting full-time hours which is kind of good. I really need the money right now.
I've almost got my camera paid off now, I've got up to $248 saved. Which means as soon as I hand over $500 to my mom, I'm set to start saving for a new car! Woooo!!! Mine is slowly falling apart; as of now, the windshield wipers don't work, two brake lights are out, the Air Conditioning doesn't work, one head light works, only if on bright, the back seat is faded at the top, the roof is coming apart, and the insulation on the doors is falling off. My front door automatically locks when ever you slam it hard, and to start the car you have to shift it too neutral. BUT. It runs. And it gets me from point A to point B. And thats really all I NEED it too do.
Which leads me into my next topic: My Birthday :-) I will be nineteen years old, in just ..........four weeks!! (sorry had to go check exactly when my birthday was ha ha.)
Now I believe that nineteen is an age where the birthday presents go from small things like, books, or shoes or clothes to things....like well...CARS lets say..
::heh heh:: On my WISH list for this year are:
2004 Acura MDX

Now the common element between all of these photos are, the cars are big and spacious.
I'm not really a little car, type of girl. One because I have a big family, and I will need to have room to fit, if not all, at least MOST of them. Two because I have dogs, and when you have a large family and are also a puppy walker you need to have room for the people and dogs to fit COMFORTABLY. As of now...that ain't happening.
Three, well I just like the cars! The Pathfinder we rented last year for our trip to Congress, LOVE THAT CAR!!! And the Rondo we drove this year, also a DREAM car. I know Kia has had some bad raps, and I know that the guys at my church would argue me under the table about the cons, of that car, but hey, If I like it, and have the money........ I'll read a bunch of reviews before I get it! ::GRINS::
Also on my wish list is this:
You may OOO and AAAH.
LG VOYAGER :-)
Now when you compare the price of the cars vs. the cell phone...hmmm...I think thats affordale!
I love you Mom and Dad!!!
.......I'd better start saving my money..............
I've also got a new public blog for Midnight : http://gdfpuppyraiser.blogspot.com
Forget the www.wordpress.com one, that site is cooky. Almost everytime I try to log on I have to get a new password..its just more trouble then its worth, so back to good 'ol www.blogspot.com.
And our last subject for the day, and my favorite: SCRAPBOOKING!!
I have been working diligently to clog up my computer as fully and completely as I can, with Scrapbooking stuff; I still have 47.50GBS to go!
And that concludes this post! My brain is dead now and I can barely see straight. Its time for me to hit the hay ::smiles::
See Ya Later!

Guess what...
I deleted all of my scrapbooking stuff.
Yep. Thats right...all 3GBs worth of stuff, down the drain.
I sat in horror as I watched the little bar delete thousands of JPGS.
Did I hit the cancel button?
NO!
Why?
Because I thought I had moved it thats why!!!
SOoo since that time, I have been on a "shopping spree."
Going through the archives of every Freebie Hunter I can find.
Thankfully some of the ones I couldn't find were on CD...*whew.*
But this also allowed me to get some great new stuff and organize it as well!!
I'm really proud of my new system!!
Take a look:

I'm really proud of my new system!!
Take a look:
First I have all my scrap-booking things in on file...aptly named Scrap-booking Stuff....
Then I made 7 file folders named according to how I look for things....Alphas, Elements, Designers, Kits, Mini kits, Papers, Word Art...etc..
Now as you can see....on my Mac, there are no previews as to what is in the folders as their are on PCs. So I have come up with my own way of seeing what is inside, with out clicking through every folder in the place.
Most Kits,Freebies...whatever, will come with a preview of everything you downloaded.
So I just took those out of the folder named them 0_Filename and thus I can just look there to see if I have what i need!
Works GREAT for me!
I'm so proud of myself.
YAY ME!!! lol
And just to make this post a bit longer.... I am in the process of making Rei's Scrapbook...and BOY is it harder then I thought! I guess because I don't have any recent memories of her, its hard to make it personal and "hers"...kwim??
But once inspiration comes to me it comes!! lol So heres what I did last night...and the night before as well :-)
Credits Coming Soon....
