Quebecois harmonica player Carl Tremblay got his start in California, staying on the West Coast for one year to play with Buddy Miles, Joe Cocker and Etta James. The self-taught musician then traveled east to Illinois, where he appeared alongside several members of the Chicago All Stars. After a stop back home in Montreal, Tremblay headed to Europe for four years, launching his singing career and collaborating with legendary producer John Hammond and Portuguese rock star Rui Veloso, among others. Now settled in Quebec, Tremblay is still an artist in demand. In 2002, he released the live album Rock N' Blues.
