Color Club Wicked Sweet - Temptress

I did a bright fun manicure with Raspberry Rush (Wicked Sweet collection)
and Ultra - Astral (Temptress collection)
This is 3 coats of Raspberry Rush and 2 coats of Ultra- Astral on my ring finger with one coat of Starry Temptress.
Raspberry Rush is a gorgeous almost jelly neon fuchsia
Ultra Astral is Neon fuchsia with holo glitter that unfortunately disappears into the polish on the nail, which is why I used Starry Temptress top coat which is a great clear holo top coat.
I love how this turned out

I am hoping the rest of the Temptress work better.
Raspberry Rush smell yummy but not overpowering.

Shattered Mermaid's Tears

This combo just screamed out to me!
OPI Turquoise Shatter, from the Blue Shatters collection, and Mermaid's Tears, from The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides collection.
I am loving both collections so much!
I used 2 coats of Mermaid's Tears, 1 coat of seche Vite, then one coat of Turquoise Shatter and 1 more coat of SV.
I had to leave at least one nail showing mostly Mermaid's Tears.
Mermaid's Tears is a perfect dusty sea foam green creme with the most perfect formula.
Turquoise Shatter is my favorite shade of turquoise with heavy green shimmer and applies fabulously!
My camera refused to take a color accurate picture of Turquoise shatter, it is a true turquoise and not nearly as blue as it shows on camera.

I'm going to have fun with these shatters!

Orly Pinup collection - Coquette Cutie & Here Comes Trouble

I love both colors!
Coquette Cutie is a warm pink creme
Here Comes Trouble is a green glitter both micro and small hex glitter in a clear base
Here comes trouble applies like any glitter, you just need to be careful as glitter clean up is impossible!
This is 4 coats of HCT, over a green base you'd do fine with 1-2 coats.
Coquette cutie was awful, thick and goopy but yet after a few seconds on the nail it then ran down & pooled at and under my cuticles. I'm guessing I got a bad bottle because I've never had an Orly polish behave so badly! This is 3 coats. 2 would be good if it weren't so goopy and uneven.

I love both colors, they are perfect for summer!
Click to enlarge this one...the hex glitter in HCT is so pretty!

Orly Pinup collection - Bubbly Bombshell

Orly calls Bubbly Bombshell a purple glitter
To me it's more fuschia and so gorgeous!
This is 4 coats (remember glitters require either layering over an opaque or multi layers)
I used 2 coats of seche Vite because glitters are bumpy & I have issues!
I added a cute little water decal skully that Kim (Overall beauty) sent me
If you look you can tell that this is actually 2 colors, a purple and a lighter pink which to me makes it look fuschia.
As much as I hate glitter removal (I can't use the foil method) this color is irresistible!
Try to tell me that this isn't hotness!
The formula is normal for a glitter so go slow when applying because clean up on glitter is not gonna happen
I love this color and if you are a glitter lover you will stare and drool over your nails all day!

Color Club Wicked Sweet scented Collection- I always Get My Man-Darine

I love fruity scented things but Orange is my enemy color....
unless it is a Color Club neon!
Warm colors look horrid on me...but Color Club is the one company that takes
pity on people like me! They are genius at adding a contrasting shimmer that makes it less
painful to wear these warm sunny shades!
Man-darin is hard to capture in pictures (neon is evil on camera) but it is a
sweet juicy tangerine/Mandarin with a beautiful green shimmer
It smells like fruit loops for the first few hours and then calms down to a soft sweet Mandarin scent
The formula is great, smooth and easy to apply though I will never love the skinny CC brush it is worth
the split second of extra work for the fun and funky shades!
Orange is still not my best color but I dismissed my crazy red fingers for this pretty!

Zoya Sunshine & Summertime - Faye

Zoya...you made this one just for me didn't you?
Faye is a beautiful gilded purple with metallic sparks of copper and gold that shifts like crazy
This is 3 coats of nom
The formula is slightly thin but very easy to work with and very forgiving
Faye is a moody girl and she might be leaning toward a multiple personality, judging by her constantly
switching from soft and girly mauvey with copper shimmer to her bold purple base with exploding golden sparkle and then to a brownish shade with purple glint and gold and copper metal sparks.
This is a must have x100....trust me you need it!

China Glaze Blue Iguana - Summer Set collection

In support of Autism awareness month (April) I will be doing Blue Wednesday all month.
I have a dear friend will a beautiful son who is Autistic and many of you may not know
about my baby Brother who passed away but he was Autistic & my heart!
So Wes & Boo this ones for you! *Smooches*
Blue Iguana is a beautiful metallic blue base with teal shimmer

It's odd that it looks sheer in the pictures because in real life there was no VNL at all
The formula was a touch runny but not bad and it applied very nicely.
There is that teal peaking out
This is 2 coats with SV top coat
This color reminds me of a hidden lagoon under lazy shade trees with just enough sun peeking through to warm you. I think I love this one!

I strongly encourage you all to donate to The National Autism Association
and if you can't donate funds...donate your time! I promise you that you will gain as much or more from the experience as those you are helping! Read up & inform yourself, teach your children about Autistic & differently abled children and adults...the more they know the better the future will be!

Here are 2 fun shades from the China Glaze Summer Set collection
Senorita Bonita is a fun bright purple with pink shimmer
Cha Cha Cha is a crisp bright green with glowing shimmer
This was 2 coats of SB and 3 of CCC
Application is China Glaze normal smooth, even easy formula
Both of these are so much more glowing in real life
OK now stop drooling on your keyboard!
I am so in the mood for these bright fun summer shades!

Zoya Sunshine & Summertime - Rica

This one is from the Sunshine half of the Zoya Sunshine & Summertime collection.
The Sunshine set is 6 shimmery metallics
Zoya describes Rica as a shimmering Rose metallic
On me Rica is a metallic coral with strong orange to pink shift
See the pink/coral with the orange sparking through
This is not the best color for my skin but I'm going to wear it anyway because it's fab
Liquid Summer
So many beautiful colors in this one
this one shows more the "rose" tone
The last 3 pics are in shade
I used 3 coats and could have stopped at 2 but I'm special that way & I just wanted to see 3
Application was smooth and even with no issues to speak of.
I love the Sunshine set so much!

Zoya Mod Mattes with top coat - summer 2011 swatches

A few people have requested to see the Zoya Mod Mattes with top coat so I did some very quick skittles with Poshe top coat. I hope this helps!
Top to bottom: Lolly, Phoebe & Mitzi
Lolly, Phoebe & Mitzi all with one coat of Poshe'
I think these 3 girls are fabulous matte or shiny
Please pardon my parched paws....I've been working a lot and forgetting my lotion.
