I found in my stash the perfect wooden background paper.
The main image is by La Pashe, old stamps, but I love
to give them another covering of ink now and again.
This is from the Flippen Men series, this being Mr. Fix -It.
Image coloured with Promarkers.
Have you spotted the Fluffy Stuff melted on the top of his
glass, to give his beer a lovely frothy head?
See you again, bye. STay well and safe.

Man at Work

Am I odd? I do sympathise with those who seem to struggle making men's cards. Maybe because I being female are in the minority in our family, we few ladies and girls are surrounded by an army of men and boys.
so, I have to like making men's/ boys cards, I am so pleased I have found  two challenge blogs strictly for male cards. Over at Here Comes the Boys this week is a sketch and at Cards for Men their theme is Men At Work, so I have combined the challenges in one card. Here is the sketch.................
The male image is from the Flippen men series which I thought suited this design, for I see him as beginning to add a shelf to the wall, but of course being a man he is thinking about it with a pint in his hand.  All coloured with Promarkers.

Spots and Stripes

Over at Crafty Carmaker's the Challenge this week is Spots and Stripes, this leads my brain to thinking of a bright fun element. I hope I have achieved it with this card.
I recently bought a pad of colourful summer papers, which provided the pots and stripes on my card. I’ll be hiding this one away from my OH, I’ll keep it for his birthday.  A die cut oval, with the dreaded peel off to give contrast. I stamped the golfer from the Flippen Men series, by La Pashe. I coloured him in, using Promarkers and watercolour pencils. I hope the sparkly finish, with glitter glue shows on the glass of beer. I look forward to popping onto your blogs to see what you do with the spots and stripes. Check it out for the winner will get a fab prize from our sponsors. Thanks for any comments left on my blog, I do appreciate you took the time.
