For my card, I used a scallop edge white card, 

Black card for the mat background.

Design paper from a Christmas paper pad.

A die cut label in black with an image from a 

Pollyanna  Pickering Christmas Kit. 

Greeting is a die cut.

Gems added to decorate. 

This card and all other preceeding donkey cards

were sent to a local Donkey Sanctuary to help with

their fund raising.

My favourite colour combo, depends upon the time of the 

year, who the card is for and other factors. One being for this card,

is I have been ill for the past three weeks, not able to create with

my stamps, which I do prefer, but at times of need, I do like making

easier cards with toppers etc from paper kits. Lord knows I have

plenty and they are so very useful for quick and easy cards. 

I do hope even this type of card can inspire.

I always find that sketch ideas can bring me out of my comfort zone of

style and it can introduce me to new ideas and designs for future cards.

I used a plain edge Kraft card, matted with black card.

I used cream card for the background. A piece of black card 

for the vertical strip with a piece of hessian to give texture.

The topper is from a Pollyanna Pickering assorted toppers kit.

This is a Thinking of You card.

# 79 Animals

At Ruby's Rainbow for the next two weeks Shaz leader of the DT has chosen for the challenge Animals. there are no specific requests or guidelines, so come on you have the world of Animals to choose from. I do hope folk will bear in mind that birds and butterflies are NOT animals, but I bet we see quite a number appearing.  How do I know this, I nearly made a card with an owl on it. He He.  Here is my card with a small matching gift bag, suitable for lots of little surprises. The papers and images are from a beautiful CD from Creative Crafting World - Pollyanna Pickering - British Wildlife. Embellishments from the CD plus a few Card Candi added. have fun. Stripey at CD Sunday Challenges

This week Jocelyn has introduced a different form of challenge, she is looking for a created piece of CD work with Stripes. a few weeks ago, I used the same CD as I have today, Creative Crafting World - Pollyanna Pickering - British Wildlife. I loved  the combination of the image along with the striped paper, the colours were perfect.All I have added to enhance the printed sheets, is silver mirri card, on white card. A few silver embellishment stars, Glamour Dust  Crystal glitter to the image.  I stamped the Christmas greeting with Versamark and used a detailed white embossing powder, then heat embossed.  I'm sure we will have a terrific assortment this week,  I am so looking forward to visiting you to see your Stripey works of art from a CD. 

Fox and Friends at CD Sunday

At CD Sunday Challenge - Sue T is challenging us with Fox and Friends.  I have taken my twisted pyramage main image from Creative Crafting World - Pollyanna Pickering - British Wildlife - what an amazing artist this lady is, and what a pleasure to be able to use her art in paper crafting. I used a Kraft card, the background is a sheet printed from The 1950s CD from Krafty hands.  I added a piece of brown ribbon and a few brown card candy, with a stamped greeting. I am so looking forward to visiting you to see your projects with Foxes and Friends.
