I've finally got it...
after marvelling it and posting bout it in July *read here*, it has become my must have!!! So in mid July, Monkey was actually in Osaka and visited its store and to my dismay....they don't have the Calibre 21 for it's only available in Paris.

there's only 2 stores in the world...I hope they will have more stores soon.

Faure le Page started out as a firearm maker back in 1717. So that explains the lil cute gun on this bag. There were a few colors of choice and I guess dusty grey is so me right now :))) You can use it as a body over sling or even as a handbag. Love its versatility.

My limited edition Cabas Daily Battle in Vert with yellow trimmings. She's so study and pretty at the same time!!!

Monkey & JS lived down the road from Rue Cambon in Paris, so passing down this road was mandatory no matter what bcoz we HAD to use this street to get home. Each walk, each stroll, there's so much to see along the windows.

See wat I mean? The mother store of Chanel with Madame Coco Chanel's apartment upstairs. But this trip, Chanel did not excite me....items that we wanted were sold out. That one month in Paris, we couldn't and didn't manage to spend with Chanel. Huahahahahaha.....so all those money were chaneled to...

oh well not far away...just next door
Faure le Page

You'll be surprised to know that Faure le Page started out as a firearms and gun-maker since 1717 for multiple revolutions. From King Louis to Bonaparte, Faure le Page is very highly regarded among the great writers of its time. One of them is Alexandre Dumas - remember the author of The Count of Monte Cristo?

and bcoz I've hardly blog bout my purchases....I was thinking this would be a nice posting bcoz I am waiting for my next ownership of Faure le Page. This one was another special unique color combo of blue and yellow from the Petit Parade collection. I lurve it so much....elegant and yet fun at the same time. Works as a clutch or sling :)))) how versatile.

and bcoz Monkey was having so much fun shopping, JS decided he didn't wanna miss out and picked his working bag as well. It's seriously so so so so exquisite. The fact that the leather is hardy plus it's a semi canvas bag makes it much of of an everyday work bag.

JS was so eppy and as usual we ended up buying bags for each other to the delight of the shop assistant.

"Oh bonjour madame et monsieur!!!"
yes it's us again so what's new for the day? the danger of staying so near, we could just simply walk in everytime or just to have a cup of coffee and chitters chatters with the staffs there. 

next my eyes are fixed on these....:))))))))))
Faure le Page Calibre 21 which is available in the standard colors of blue, green, black, burgundy and light blue. It's so ME and so cute it's hard to say NO!!!

My first world problem now.....there's only ONE boutique in the whole wide world with 2 more pop up stores in Paris and Japan. So time to make visit(s) soon :))))

Moynat

One cannot miss this stunning looking shop along Rue St Honore. The oldest French trunk maker since 1849. Moynat is a legacy on its own, producing handmade, made to order, customised luggage and trunks for the royal family and aristocrats. It's almost an institute in France for so many generations.

The family owns Moynat until 1976. It then went through many other hands before LVMH bought it in 2010. This was when Moynat was reborn....with a vengeance I must say. Coz it seems that everyone wants Moynat now :))) I am happy to find pop up store in Japan and Hong Kong and soon it received such overwhelming response that concrete presence was much needed. Now Moynat has got gallery and permanent shop in Asia. :))))

Whatever it is, one must must visit its main atelier and boutique at Rue St Honore. It was so important that this "activity" was listed in our itinerary to JS rolling his eyes.

JS: "We will walk past there anyway!!! coz u wanna buy this and buy that."
Monkey: "Like u not gonna spend time there everyday?? Afterall u'll be looking at wat's new inside Goyard everyday."

oh well, reasons why we are staying within walking distance from Chanel mother store and Goyard's only store in Paris. So u see, Monkey isn't that inconsiderate, she even made sure our accommodation was so strategic even for Master JS who oso insisted that Lafayette must also be around the corner. Okie got u boss.

Train Clutch, designed by Pharrell Williams....yes u read that right, the very same famous and talented Happppppyyyy Pharrell Williams. Such an exquisite clutch!!!!

Beyonce was recently spotted carrying it. Truly an "Object of Desire"

Monkey thought so hard and really hard and decided she's OK to part so much of money for a briefcase but we gotta wait 6 months for it, as it's custom-made and of coz made to order.

Readers should know me by now....I will never step out without having anything in my hands. I am that persistent, once set out to do *or buy* something, it has to be executed. 

Since Pharrell Williams limited collection was just launched a few days ago when we visited Moynat, the entire boutiques were showered with trains and more trains. JS suggested that I get this cute lil train clutch instead. Hmmmm now so many colors, which one to choose from? :))))

It's so cute right? Reminded me of my childhood in lollie dresses when I was drawing trains with fat crayons. Hahahaha

Anyway JS was right, don't think I can afford anything that I only like half heartedly with stocks availability in the boutique at that time. Next I was bz checking every colors availability, that best match me hehehehehe. It was only launched a few days ago and most of the colors were still available. Hooray!!!

I think Orange is the best color for me :))))) Have yet to use the choo-choo train :))) will find an occasion to. I know it's very pricey but it's a Moynat.

Right after my purchase, I received an email from Moynat...oh wow that's really good customer relations management. :)))) and last Friday, I bought something from Louis Vuitton KLCC and right after they swiped my card, ping I received a thank you email with a copy of my receipt in pdf. Wow such efficiency. :))))

right now, I am happy to be part of the journey in LVMH group :)) If u gonna sell ur soul to something, u better make sure it's worth it. Same goes to food and wines, if u gonna put calories into that body of yours, better make sure it's worth every single cal!!!

For those who are wondering what is this.....it's a beautiful limited edition handmade book clutch by Olympia Le-Tan. Isn't it adorable? Alice in Wonderland is retailing at Euro 1,335

Then there's Cinderella!! according to Olympia Le-Tan Cinderella is the greatest love story ever since Snow White. Olympia has got deep obsession with books, all thanks to her influential father, the famous French illustrator and painter Pierre Le-Tan. Like father like daughter :)))

He has been doin works for big names in publishing houses like Vogue, Tatler, Harper's Bazaar, Town & Country, New York Times and also illustration works for fashion houses like Gucci and Lanvin to huge luxury lifestyle retailer like LaFayette. He also did covers for music albums.

So it's true eh? Talents need to be instilled and built. You can't just be born with it alone. 

The latest collection from Olympia Le-tan revolves around the Walt Disney's theme. Her designs are whimsical, playful and yet chic.

Her Fall Winter collection was so playful!!! I love love love every single piece of it :)))))))))) If only I can get hold of my hands on them.....everything was a massive sold out again.

Monkey only managed to purchase the madhatter rabbit book clutch!!!!  It's crazy I tell you. I mean, I was crazy when I found it at Le Bon Marche - our favourite departmental store in Paris. :)))) Do u know that Le Bon Marche is now owns by LVMH group? I love love love the supermarket section so so much. U can practically get anything and everything at the Grand Epicerie section/building of Le Bon Marche.

Ok back to Olympia Le-Tan....Monkey couldn't decide based on those few choices and designs available. Each piece is handmade by Olympia herself and numbered accordingly. It depends, certain pieces only 10 or 15 or 85 pieces worldwide. The How's Tricks? Book clutch was only made for 77 pieces. 

It's a simple clutch with 100% brass material and wrapped in 100% cotton. So exquisite!!! Monkey squealed in delights and JS rolled his eyes.

Oh that would be exactly how he behaved with his wines and whiskeys. So stop rolling ur eyes Mr. JS.

JS: "WAT? It's not even leather and it cost Euro 1,200 for this clutch that looked like a book??"
Oh u won't understand....but despite all that, JS said he'll buy it for me. Wow what a double bonus for me. First I found Olympia Le-Tan and then JS bought it for me :))))

and I took her out to play at her first event a few months ago. Now I am so in love with it, I wanted more.....

Olympia Le-Tan also designs very beautiful ready-to-wear. Love her chic cuts and prints :))) These are pics from her very latest Spring 2015.

Now I can't wait to lay my hands on more of her creations. We only have got a problem now Houston. Monkey needs to save money again. Argh!!!! why can't money grows like taugeh? Fast and easy~~~ I need to work harder for more. Motivations in life :))))

Fendi Roll Bag

We walked past Fendi's pop-up store at Galeries LaFayette of furs, embroideries and exotic skins all shouting "BUY ME BUY ME!!!" But this Notti Monkey was just drawn to this evil face looking tote bag...the Roll Bag.

Telling JS...

"OMG!!! this bag looked exactly like my face....and it's black!!!! wahahahahaha"

JS couldn't agree more. I do look like this....

There are other colors too, like this NEON BLUE. To me he looked sick....like he's too cold and about to puke anytime....

Made from soft and yet sturdy calfskin. It has a zipped pocket depicting its mouth and a black zipper that reminded me of a poisoned tongue. Inspired from their other franchise of Bugs bag this one is more versatile and easy goin. Plus it isn't too loud like other Fendi Bug Bags....

and bcoz it was only Euro 950 and WAS only available exclusively to Galleries Lafayette at that time....Monkey gotta have it!!! and I chose the BRICK RED color which was really an ANGRY BUG!!!! kekekekeke

Measuring at W47cm x D13.5cm x H28cm, this huge ass angry bug can store quite a mothership. I love its even sturdier double leather handle. When u are gonna put such weight into it, it better be strong and I can attest to it. My entire mothership belongings including the heavy iPad NON-air.

It's all about the "Jours"

du Jour is french of "of the day"
du Jours is "of the daysssss"
so when Fendi created the 2jours structured handbag....it's really the bag of the day. Made from high quality calfskin with a name tag which u can customised in enamel. The one in the color Ecstasy Pink really got me high in ecstasy.

Next comes the one in blush pink. I was turning it round and round looking for a slight hint of pink...it's more of a blush beige to me.

but then.........the Saint Laurent Sac du Jour Cruise 2014 new colors have arrived!!!! I saw them personally last weekend...and was.....goo-goo-gaa-gaa over them

The leather on Saint Laurent is prone to scratches while Fendi is more hardy
Saint Laurent weighs a lorry bcoz of the inlay leathers and Fendi weighs about a van too. Both are heavy even before my stuffs are in!!!
but Saint Laurent is so structured and beautiful!!! Fendi too!!!

Just tough decision now....how how how?

this bag didn't make it to my Object of Desire list because.....because Monkey knew it will end up on her hands, so no efforts were needed to put it into the list. The idea of my Object of Desire list are for items meant to be desired, wanted and not to have :)))))

Chanel launched the Boy collection not too many years ago..
edgier, funky, bold and meant for the Boys of coz but somehow she's so popular now that there's a website dedicated just for the Boy collection.





Today, the Boy is available in Mini, Small, Medium and Large
in different materials from lambskin and calfskin *being the entry level* to exotic skins like python, galuchat and alligator

the marketing campaign was directed and photographed by Karl Lagerfeld himself :))

Chanel Boy, size mini, in yellow galuchat skin

last month, both Monkey & JS were dashing from stores to stores in Singapore....
No no no...not for Chanel Boy. It was Great Singapore Sale and we were busy buying.....PLATES and BOWLS. HAHAHHA yes u got it...homewares and stuffs and we usually ship them by hands...:P well all these things are fragile.

So with both hands laden with many many MANY many many shopping bags I can't remember how...that JS spotted arrivals of Chanel Boy at Ngee Ann City's enormous boutique.

"HEY!!!! LOOK!!!!"
He was more excited than me -_-
"Errr we are running outta time. Gotta drop these in the hotel and get ready for a really really important dinner with a really really important guest from France!!!"

JS: "NO!!! LOOK!!!!"
It was then my eyes focused itself on those Chanel Boy in the arms of Mannequins.
"NO no no...we are late!!! look there's a queue anyway."
Before Monkey could protest any longer, JS already made his ways pushing past shoppers and queue-ing up behing those chinese PRC

Dang!!! I never queue like this!!! for anything!!!! *grumble grumble grumble*
Finally it was our turn...

JS: "I wanna see all your Boy!!!" he demanded..
Monkey stared up at him in amazement for his authoritative commands...coz he's not like this :P esp with me. *well with his staffs it's a different story OK? He's known as Terry the Terrorizer at work*

JS: "No no no no I don't want all these.....I saw the red lil one on the hands of your mannequin by the South East corner of your boutique facing Orchard Road."
"but Sir, that one is from our Spring Summer 2013. It isn't from the Fall Winter coll. We've only have one piece available and that's with the mannequin."
