Mee Mee's Birthday @ KLGCC

Shell Shell, Monkey, Nee Lee, Mee Mee ber-posing-posing tak habis habis
kakakakakaka coz someone once said, if u can't play, at least u must have the poise.

Birthday gal wanted to try to hit some balls for the very first time and so all roomies woke up early on Saturday morning and car-pool-ed their way to the driving range.

Along, we brought our sifu bcoz without him, none of us would be able to hit and swing anything. Sweet JS was so nice to spare some time with 4 chitter chatters giggly loud roomies.

Oh well darlin that doesn't count ok. 

and so Shell Shell had her very first REAL swing instead of a virtual one. She said the feeling is so different. Hahaha of coz of coz. It's like playing Cooking Mama on my iPhone vs REAL COOKING. :P

Birthday Gal Mee Mee was practising her swing minus the club. Lurve her new pair of shoes. Since now everyone has got sports shoes, perhaps we should engage in more out-door activities.

and now Nee Lee's turn......and she address the ball so seriously....hahaha. All the "students" were told watever they swing, just make sure the club doesn't fly out and injure other people. :P

It wasn't easy to get everything right. From the grip to the posture...let's not even go to the swing part. JS himself declared he's not a good coach so if everyone is serious, we should just get a proper coach instead. I didn't expect my roomies to pick up golf after a short crash course like this.

and so our dearie coach was explaining and explain and explained....the momentum, the natural down swing, the slow up swing, the contact, the push, the whip bla bla bla yada yada yada....all the students were absorbing like sponge. Mine was already hard like stone, can't input anything when it comes to golf.

after a few hundred balls.....it's time to do our favourite past-time...MAKAN!!! LOL Shell lurves the rendang and she looked so cute in this pic :)))

Nee Lee had trouble looking for a collar t-shirt but she managed to somehow. Woohoooo :)))) Later we were bz browsing for really old pics. Like pics of us 16 years ago~~~~ gosh that was really long long long time ago and she insisted that she's prettier now...hahahaha.

All of us looked so nerdy back in university...oh well who doesn't? 

 

No matter how much we have changed in looks, Monkey was still the nottiest one since uni years. I have cocked eye in this pic....time to see an eye doctor about this.

Puma Cobra just released this new Green driver...that reminds me Malaysian Open is around the corner.......next week!!! WOOHOOOO!!!!

I've gave up golf 2 years ago, it's time to re-ignite my passion....so I'll need some new gadgets but JS said I don't really need any of these. It's like learning to drive with a Porsche Roadster?? Hahahah true true, indeed a very good analogy there.

This driver is equipped with My Fly Technology which lets u adjust your loft and draw settings. It's definitely handy for golfers between the mid to low handicap level. Yeah Yeah don't think they have anything for the ladies but this color sure make any golfers wanna lay their hands on it.

Only 1,800 pieces are produced worldwide out of which only 30 are sold in Malaysia. So if you must lay your hands on it...... I reckon u head down to your favourite golf shop right away. Oh wait..u need to wait till 18th March when the stocks arrive...good luck dearie golfers :)))

Mean time, I need to lay my hands on a good golf coach with limitless patience to teach me again. So where to? Saujana or KLGCC? :))))))

The Weekend

weekend has been spent mostly here
no...not the golf part...
we only went to the club house for lunch :D

we were still busy moving things in batches and cleaning the new home
it's so dusty
guess the place gonna need another month before all the dust can settle down

as the strong wind was pushing me to the other side

can't even open the door of the car properly~~
as in to get outta car

opened with all my might
wind pushed it back with a loud thud
opened it again
it got closed by the wind

frustrated Monkey then opened the door with both hands
leg kicking the door *pardon me*
and it got closed and banged into me
*adui sakit!!!!!*

in the end I used my whole body to open the door to get out
and it was wide enuff just to let my body out
the door closed on its own with no effort

Driving around Mornington

Mornington Peninsula is about 40km away fr the city
famous for its wineries and golf courses at every corner as we drove.
*rollsssss eyesssss*

it's really a kampung area
and I saw so many Moo Moo cows grazing the greens

"oooooo that's my dinner!!!! yum yum Angus beef...and the other one there probably a wagyu."
I Ching & Monkey drove around the country side
while waiting for the men to finish whacking their 18 holes at Moonah Links

visiting chocolates factories, mazes, local producers, apple farm, cherry farm, berries farm, poultry farm.......
I swear I've known Mornington by my heart after this!!!
*there's beer factory, cheese factory which we have yet to find time to visit*
we stopped by the road side near to the National Park
ventured 10 minutes inside and found a beautiful cliff for us to snap pics :))))))))
in fact we could have walked even further down but the wind was
my my my.......
almost blown this Monkey outta sight!!!!!

Malaysia Open 2009, Saujana

last week was the biggest Open in Malaysia
hosted by Maybank and Malaysia Golf Association.

biggest attraction got to be Anthony Kim - World no.11
