Shoebox Swaps - Part 2

Thanks for coming back today to take a peek at some of my Shoebox Swap cards and creations made with my stampin' girlfriends. I love Shoebox Swaps - where we each bring a completed project and supplies for all the others to make one, too!

Today's featured swaps are all designed by the great Susan Chester and created by moi!

After teaching us to make this cute box / package that holds a 6x6 pad of patterned paper, Susan surprised us each with another one as birthday gifts!!!  :)

This little carton hold everything you need when you're sick!  What a great gift to a sick friend!

This card was made with Washi Tape and Buttons - easy peasy!  Whip a few in no time.

Valentine LOVE, Post 2-4

I sell my cards in a couple local shops, and knowing Valentine's Day was fast approaching I made up about 4 dozen Valentine cards.  These 2 were inspired by some supplies I wanted to play with!

I tore the Washi Tape long enough to wrap the ends around to the back side of the cardstock for a smooth finish...

When you build your Big Shot 'sandwich' for the Thinlits dies, use wax paper between the die and the cardstock - your diecut will pop out easily!

12 Days of Christmas Cards: DAY 12

Are you getting ready for Christmas?  Are your days as busy as mine are?  It's that wonderful, crazy time of year when I try to do three times the usual amount of things and still stay . . . peaceful?!  Yes, amidst the hustle and bustle there IS peace - if I stay still long enough to sense it.

I've also realized I've posted a lot of special deals for you lately - but not any card ideas!  So here is my Christmas gift to you . . . 12 days of card ideas to inspire your last-minute creations.  For the next 12 days, I will count down to Christmas with at least one card every day - and maybe some special deals thrown in for good measure!  Enjoy.

Saturday Morning Videos: Washi Tape and Tape It Stamp Set

Good morning and welcome to Saturday Morning Cartoons Videos!  I love our new Washi Tape! They are so cute! I also love our new Tape It stamp set. Now you can have not only the traditional Washi Tape but you can also have "tape" that's versatile in a different way. Take a look . . .

These are a couple of projects made using Tape It and our new in colors. As you can see you can layer these and create all kinds of fun and eclectic looks. You can also stamp on vellum, cut it out and it also creates a faux tape. You can also stamp it on cardstock and cut it out to look like Washi Tape. Another fun idea is to use patterns from other stamp sets and create Washi Tape that way as well.
