I Love Promarkers DT Card - CAS

It's challenge time again at I Love Promarkers, this time our theme is "Clean and Simple" and we're sponsored by the wonderful Dr Digi, who very kindly gave the DT some fun images to play with.  I decided to use a Dr Digi image from my own collection, called Duncan Disorderly, to make my husband's birthday card; he was into punk music back in the day, still loves it now but masquerades as a respectable primary school teacher by day!
I have, of course, used my Promarkers to colour the image.
The safety pin border was stamped with a Personal Impressions stamp and the splatters were stamped in Barn Door and Weathered Wood Distress Inks using an Inkylicious stamp set.  The sentiment was computer generated.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Inky Chicks - #78 - CAS
The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - #77 - O is for Outrageous
Crafty Catz - #356 - Male Cards
The Crafty Addicts - #33 - Add a Sentiment

I Love Promarkers DT Card - Hats

It's challenge time again at I Love Promarkers, this fortnight our theme is "Hats" and we're sponsored by Doctor Digi, who kindly gave the DT some images to play with.  I, however, chose a Doctor Digi image from my own collection for my card, called Simply Santa, colouring him with my Promarkers and adding some Ultra Fine Flower Soft to give him a fluffy beard.  I also used this to create a border round the edge of the topper.
The papers, including those used on the die cut presents, are Papermania, from a pack called A Letter to Santa, some of them have lovely gold foiling on them.  The sentiment stamp used is Papermania too.  The cute present die is from Crafter's Companion, I couldn't resist giving each parcel a gold mirri bow.  The finishing touch was to add a large double bow.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Cuttlebug Mania - Santa Baby - Crafter's Companion present die and Spellbinders circles.

I Love Promarkers DT Card - White on White

It's challenge time once again at I Love Promarkers; this fortnight our theme is "White on White with a Coloured Image", and we're sponsored by Doctor Digi, who very kindly gave the DT some images to play with.  I chose the use Elvis the Elf, colouring him, of course, with my Promarkers, then fussy cutting him out.
I added some piercing round the edges of the base layer of card, then some faux stitching with a Quickie glue pen and Glamour Dust for a little bit of sparkle against the white background.  To create the foreground, I simply used some torn card with a sentiment stamped on with a Papermania Honey and Hugs stamp, I thought the fun font went rather well with the style of the digi.
The house was die cut with a Spellbinders die set from star dust card, and embellished with iridescent gems.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Artistic Inspirations - #165 - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - #334 - Anything Goes
Glitter 'n' Sparkle - #210 - Anything Goes

I Love Promarkers DT Card - Use Dies

It's challenge time again at I Love Promarkers, this fortnight our theme is "Use Dies" and we're sponsored by Dr Digi, who kindly gave the DT some images to play with.  I chose to use Cake and Candles, colouring with my Promarkers and highlighting the icing and candle flames with Star Dust Stickles, which, unfortunately, hasn't shown up very well in the photos.
I've gone for a CAS layout for this one, using just one patterned paper, a very old piece of Papermania paper that's been in my stash for ages, I think it may even predate my nine year old son!  I added some dotty doodling round the edges of the patterned layer for a bit of interest, and also to echo the pierced pattern on the banners.   The white tag is from Papermania too.
The banners were cut with Sue Wilson dies, I stamped the sentiment with a stamp from a Personal Impression set, and the stars were made with Xcut dies from scraps of pearl card in the colours of the top, middle and bottom layers of the cake.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -

I Love Promarkers DT Card - Sport

It's challenge time again at I Love Promarkers, this fortnight our theme is "Sport", and we're sponsored by Doctor Digi, who kindly gave the DT some images to play with.  I chose to use KO Kevin, colouring him, of course, with Promarkers, complete with black eye!

I kept this card pretty CAS in design, using just one patterned paper, from a Craftwork Cards bumper pack.  The sentiment was computer generated and matted onto red card, and the finishing touch was a trio of red mirri Card Candi.

I Love Promarkers DT Card - Use Only Two Colours

It's challenge time again at I Love Promarkers, this fortnight or theme is "Use Only Two Colours", and we're sponsored by Dr Digi, who kindly gave the DT a selection of images to play with.  I decided to use this fun Birthday Cake digi, which looks a bit squint, but with plenty of icing, definitely homemade!
I chose, as you can see, pink and brown for my two colours, although I did use the teeny weeniest bit of yellow for the candle flame, I'm sure nobody will hold that against me, I hope not anyway!  I used Promarkers (of course!) for the colouring.
The pretty pink papers are all Lili of the Valley, from a pack called Pastel Dreams, I've inked all the edges with brown ink and added dark brown card for matting.
I used Spellbinders Curved Rectangles to cut out the topper and mat it up, and Xcut dies from my Party Time set to make the streamers and cupcakes, I topped the little cakes with tiny dots of pink Nuvo Crystal drops for sprinkles.
I used Personal Impressions stamps to stamp the sentiments in Rich Cocoa Memento ink, then matted them up with more brown card.
To further embellish, I added some layered ribbon, a matching button topped bow, and some pink gems.
