I Love Promarkers DT Card - Distress Those Edges

It's challenge time again at I Love Promarkers, this fortnight our theme is "Distress Those Edges", and we're sponsored by Ike's Art, who kindly gave the DT some images to play with.  Being a horse lover, I chose Ponies, which I coloured, of course, with my Promarkers.
The papers are Papermania, Tilly Daydream, to which I added some kraft card and a luggage label; distressing all the edges with my Tim Holtz distressing tool as I layered everything up.
To embellish, I added two sentiment tags, both stamped with Lili of the Valley stamps, some baker's twine, and a trio of Card Candi.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Fab 'n' Funky - #325 - Animals
Crafting From The Heart - #134 - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - #336 - Anything Goes
My Time to Craft - #332 - Autumnal Colours or Halloween - I chose the colour theme
Sweet Stampin' - Inspired by a Book, Film, or Song - I chose the book and film The Horse Whisperer
Crafty Girls Creations - #29 - Anything Goes

I Love Promarkers DT Card - Anything Goes

It's challenge time again at I Love Promarkers, this fortnight our theme is everyone's favourite, "Anything Goes", ( as long as you use Promarkers, Flexmarkers or other Letraset pens obviously! ), and we're sponsored by Ikesart, who kindly gave the DT some images to play with.  I just had to use this beauty, called Miniature Dachshund, because it looks so like a miniature longhair dachshund, Hazel, we had when I was a teenager and young adult.  We all adored her and she is still sadly missed all these years later.  I did my best with my Promarkers to capture her expression and colouring, I don't think I did too badly, my Mum recognised her straight away!
The papers are First Edition, from a pad called Neroli, to which I've added orange and brown card for matting.
The sentiment was stamped with a stamp from a Personal Impressions set, die cut with a Spellbinders die and dusted with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.
I decided not to add too many embellishments to distract from the lovely image, opting for some layered ribbon with a mating bow and a couple of pieces of Card Candi.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Crafting From the Heart - #112 - Anything Goes
Love to Scrap - #78 - Anything Goes
Open Minded Crafting - #5 - Favourite Technique - Colouring With Promarkers
Sparkles - #80 - Animal Magic

Inspiration Destination - #86 - Anything Goes
