Sick-o-pathics!

Check this out! I'm getting the legendary low budget splatter flick SICK-O-PATHICS from 1996! It's directed by Massimo Lavagnini and among other fine actors it stars Antonio Margheriti, Luigi Cozzi, Renato Polselli, Lucio Fulci, Antonella Fulci, David Warbeck, Linnea Quigley, Sergio Stivaletti, Dardano Sacchetti, Joe D'Amato, Sergio Bergonzelli!!! The tape I'm getting is an English language release on the German Manic Entertainment label. There's no DVD release.

Did you check the trailer I posted yesterday? If not I recommend you do so right away at least if you love gory flicks!! I posted the trailer because Diabolik mentioned the film to me but I hadn't actually read anything about it. I have now and, whoah, it made me order it right away! Check Fred's review here. I ordered it from one of my fave DVD/VCD stores in Thailand, eThaiCD.com and it came to $11.50 in total (they have free postage to anywhere). Check the disc here. If for some obscure reason you want the VCD instead they have that too at half the price. The DVD has English subs, the VCD doesn't.

EDIT: SATAN OG HELVEDE!!! Diabolik just mentioned to me that the DVD I'm linking to doesn't have English subs (or at least the store page only mentions Thai subs). Bummer! Who could've known they've put out different DVD versions in Thailand of the same film already!! I'll let you know if it's got subs or not when I get it. Argh, for fuck's sake!!!

Jeg husker engang for nogen år siden, da jeg mødte Peter Peter i VideoNetto på Vesterbrogade og efter at Jang (som jeg havde mødt 10 minutter forinden) havde introduceret mig, spurgte PP, hvad min yndlingsfilm var. Jeg husker ikke mit svar, men da jeg efterfølgende spurge ham, hvad hans yndlingsfilm var, sagde han: "Der er jo altid 'saven' ". Haha.

De har iø begge efterfølgende købt alle numre af STAY SICK!, naturligvis (og det er mig, som blev brugt som skabelon til Zlatko Burics karakter i specielt PUSHER 3, men sig det ikke til nogen).

More Schnaas

Oh happy day! I'm getting more Andreas Schnaas' films: ZOMBIE '90 on reg.1 dvd, VIOLENT SHIT on German vhs, NIKOS THE IMPALER and GOBLETS OF GORE on Reg.1 and Reg.2 dvd's. The latter from Austria. I read somewhere that that's the only place GOBLETS is released! WOO-HOO!!!
I also tried to get ANTHROPOPHAGUS 2000 on Reg.1 dvd but unfortunately someone (on eBay) was willing to cough up more dough than I was. Boo-hoo. I might as well go and stick my head in the oven. :-(

Don't Wake The Dead

I just did a little YouToobe-ing and, mein gott!!, there's a new Andreas Schnaas movie!!! It may still be lowbudget but it's certainly a far cry from the first VIOLENT SHIT not to mention ZOMBIE '90, LOL.

Yes, yes, yes!!! Zee mailman brought to me one of zee most vanted video tapes today!!! That's right, buddy, I got Andreas Schnaas' German splatter flick VIOLENT SHIT 2 (aka Violent Shit II: Mother Hold My Hand) all the way from Suomi (Finland)!! MOHAHAHA (evil laughter by sane individual seconds before he disappears into the world of insane German underground splatter! LOL). This is also out as part of an OOP dvd set (VS 1-3) but that set is un-subbed. This old-skool vhs is subtitled in the Queen's English. Ahh, happy day.
