Let it snow, oh nooooo!

Believe it or not it snowed yesterday!!  Ugh!! Atleast it wasn't cold enough to stay around.  I don't want to think about snow right now so this will be another short post.  Here's a card I made just this morning.  It's another of my "happy little accidents" as this card was created by accident.  I was moving some scrap pieces around and this is what I ended up with.
I have a clear envelope of punched snowflakes that I keep on hand, you never know when they might come in handy!!

Here's a little snippet for tomorrow's blog hop. Stop by and see what's new with Whimsie Doodles!

Spring is in the air

Today is my last day to post Magnolia cards for The Little Stamp Shoppe.  My 3 month term is over and I'll miss sweet little Tilda.  The challenge for this card was to create a typical "Magnolia" style card.  For me that meant a larger square card with flowers.  I used clear buttons on pattern paper and ribbon for leaves.  Of course a spring card wouldn't be spring without a butterfly.  This is Tilda as  Butterfly and she's from The Little Stamp Shoppe.

Stamp Shoppe Magnolia and sketch

Good morning all!  Today I have a card and sketch for you.  The sketch is just for fun if you wanted to play along.  I used the Stamp Shoppe's Magnolia image Pink Tilda with striped tights from the 2008 Pink collection.  My goal was to try and make a traditional Magnolia card and use colours I've never tried before.

Magnolia Thursday and Sketches

Every thursday until the end of February will be my day to show you my Stamp Shoppe Magnolia cards.  I like having a specific day for things don't you?  So guess what I have for you today?? hahahahha  This week's personal challenge was to use any Magnolia image exept Tilda or Edwin.  Then I combined that with two sketches and well here is the result.
So this first card is based on MOJO MONDAY's sketch 124.  As you can see I used the muffin now available at the Stamp Shoppe!

Now this card is upside down.  That is I flipped the sketch from Friday Sketchers #87 sketch.
You know I think I'm actually starting to like sketches!!  This week I made 3 cards using a sketch.  I don't think I made 3 sketch cards all year.

The prize is a Magnolia Stamp,  I made a card for the challenge using the image up for grabs.  I've even managed to put some flowers on my card.  I know that flowers aren't part of the challenge but one of my goals this month is to use flowers.  I'm not doing so well with my personal challenge but atleast I managed to it with today's card.  Hahaha!

Magnolia is raising the ceiling!

Happy day to you!  Today's card were made using Magnolia's new stamp set called Raising the Ceiling from the Stamp Shoppe.  The first card has little Tilda in her party dress and high heels.

The next card has Tilda in pigtails.  Isn't she adorable??  I think she needed a little more colour on her dress!  It looks like I started from the bottom and forgot the middle and finished with her hair.  I love coloring Tilda's hair.

Got Magnolia?  Check out the Stamp Shoppe.
