By Golly Miss Molly

1. What I was doing ten years ago...
Hmmm... Ten years ago would have made me 13! Haha... those beautiful awkward Jr. High years! Back then, I wasn't sure how to do my hair... probably slicked it back into some pony tail with my scraggly natural curls flopping down, somewhat frizzing out. I also remember my bright teal shorts that came just above my knees (that my grandpa J. thought were wayyy too short). I also remember making a bet with my friend, good ol' Melissa Nay who lived just up the street, who would be the first out of both of us to get kissed or get a boyfriend. I'm not sure if that was the summer that Merissa and I decided we were really good bakers and set out to make up our own recipe of banana bread... we named it "Banamana Loaf". Yummy. It only took 4 hours to bake at 350 degrees. Our parents pretended to enjoy it. :)

2. Five things to do today...
Well, my day is about over, but five things I DID today... I gave Peeve her ear medicine (that's always lots of fun), I vacuumed my house, loaded the dishwasher, washed my car, and exercised at the gym.

3. What snacks do I enjoy...
Green grapes (tart, a bit bitter with just a touch of sweetness), raisins (Jen, do you like raisins??), cheesy crackers, I usually love chocolate or ice cream, and I tend to lean toward yogurts and cheeses and stuff like that as well. Can you say "calcium-deprived pregnant woman?" I crave dairy products.

4. What would I do if I suddenly became a billionaire...
Andy and I would travel A LOT!! We would probably go on every cruise, go to every tourist attraction available. I know Andy would want to invest a lot of the money. I would also want to donate a lot of money to the muscular dystrophy foundation, and would probably give a lot of the money to hospitals and children's cancer centers. I would definitely want a building or a street named after me... maybe a skyscraper (haha Merissa). I would also give money to my siblings, children, parents, and maybe if my friends were nice, I'd take them out to lunch once in a while. Somewhere classy... like McDonalds. Andy and I would live close to family, and heck, he could probably purchase part of Chevron, so we could live and he could work wherever we wanted.

5. 3 bad habits...
Why is this question on here? Alright.
*I tend to obsess over cats and kittens... even though I finally have one, I want more. Andy and I have even thought of future names for them, and I always dream about them.
*I leave my makeup out on the counter sometimes.
*I love to tease people, and make smart comments (I've known Andy too long).

6. 5 things people don't know about me... (or do they??)
Well, if we're counting Merissa, I'm sure she could fill all of you in on stuff I don't even know about myself. She tends to have an impeccable memory that is actually quite annoying.
*I giggle in my sleep... quite often.
*I was first attendant in the Ms. Gunnison pageant when I was 17. (but according to Aunt Veola I WAS Miss Gunnison)
*I love wearing colored socks, even mismatching ones sometimes.
*I love cake batter ice cream at Cold Stone with the birthday cake mix-ins.
*Most of my female cats have had male names, mostly thanks to Adam and I... such as Cowboy and Gordon.

7. Just kidding, there's no #7. You're probably dying reading as much as you have. Anyway, I'm going to tag Merissa and Rach. I want to see what you have to say. Try to make some of it embarrassing, so that it's juicy to read! ;) Love you guys.

Sequoia National Park

We took a little trip up to Sequoia National Park last weekend. It was fun to see the big trees, especially the "General Sherman"; the biggest tree in the world (30 ft in diameter and 300 ft tall!!). There was a little more snow than we expected so we had to chain up the Jetta (aka Black Beauty) to get over the mountain (that was the highlight for Andy), but it was worth it.

Andy's Trip to Europe

Andy had to go to Europe for 10 days, courtesy of Chevron (poor guy). He spent time in Scotland (Aberdeen & Edinburgh), England (London & Bath), Norway (Bergen), and Amsterdam. He claims that it was a very productive business trip, but he sure has a lot of pictures and stories from several tourist attractions...

The first two pictures are in London and the third is in Amsterdam. Andy enjoyed London and would love to go back...but he wasn't too impressed with Amsterdam.

Pictures of Bergen, Norway. Andy says it was beautiful, but very rainy while he was there. Gin likes the colors, says it reminds her of beautiful paintings.

The castle is where Andy stayed while in Aberdeen, Scotland. The other two pictures are from Bath, England.

Pictures of Stone Henge (Andy claims to have had a extra-terrestrial experience) and Windsor Castle.

This set of pictures is of Edinburgh, Scotland.
