Grandma & Grandpa J

Grandma and Grandpa J came out to meet and greet Atley for their first time, just a couple of days after she arrived. It was sooo wonderful to have them here, and Atley just loved them! They helped the new mother and father so much, and were absolute life-savers that first exhausting week!!!




















Thanks to Grandma J's rhyming capabilities and Grandpa J's singing, Atley learned tons about poetry and good 'museec' while they were here!





















I really just can't get enough of putting little pretty bright-colored flowers on her pretty little head. I think she looks adorable.

Introducing....Atley Virginia Olson!!

Atley arrived July 11th at 10:30 pm weighing 7 lbs 7 ounces and 19 inches long. Andy said she seemed pretty darn happy considering the journey she had just taken. Both Virginia and Atley are healthy and well. We are so happy to have our daughter here!!

Happy Independence Day!

Obviously we didn't do anything too active over the 4th of July weekend. Between Friday and Saturday we spent close to 8 hours in friends' pools. Gin is doing everything she can to help ease her back aches. Permanently pruned skin and chlorine-burned eyes is a small price to pay for temporary back pain relief.

On Friday we went with our friends to a barbecue and pool party. We've got a few pictures of the pool...not a bad one, eh? We wouldn't mind if we had one like that in our backyard. Of course, there wouldn't be any yard left after the pool was put in.
