PINK

So for the month of February, we are celebrating in PINK! The phrase "pink pink you stink" comes to mind. But only because Atley almost always wears pink (except when she's wearing purple... or any other color for that matter). And from months 3-6 of her life, she has LOVED the word "stinky"!! She thinks it is hilarious. She would laugh and laugh at the word. Now she's become a lot more mature, and doesn't giggle nearly as hard at it. But she still likes it when we tell her that her little feet stink, or that her diaper is stinky (and that happens quite frequently, needless to say)Here she is just after her night-time bath... all warm and fresh in her little pink bathtowel.

In this pic, and the next, she's getting ready for a walk outside (it was a titch cold). She's wearing the HAT I MADE HER!!! WAHOO! Not trying to brag.... but...I love it. I think she looks like a little pink cupcake. P.S. If anyone who reads this blog ever wants to dress their babies or kids up in silly hats like I do, and would like me to make them one, let me know! I would love to! (even though I guess winter is almost over)

Chillin' on the floor with her basket'o'toys. Currently, her favorite toys include: a metal spoon, an orange stuffed kitty, and paper (when she can get her little hands on it).

This is the shirt Grandma Jensen gave her for Valentine's Day!! Isn't it cute? It says Bee Happy on the front, and has a pic of a little bumblebee. Her facial expression is so hilarious in this one. "Hmmmm... how can I get my hands on that camera??"

Pay It Forward

So my friend, Alison, is doing this pay it forward thing. This is how it works..... The first 3 people to leave a comment on this will receive a hand made gift from me during this year (because Im slow?). When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch...You knew there would be didn't you? Post this on your blog then come back and leave a comment, telling me you're in. Fun huh? Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift.

Valentine's Weekend

So what better way to spend Valentine's than with those you love?? Andy's parents and younger brother came for a visit and stayed saturday through monday morning. We had so much fun with them and were sad to see them go! Atley had a blast with them, and was giggling at every little thing they did or said. She LOVES attention! Here she is in her new little valentine's outfit with grandma olson, and uncle dallin!

In this picture, I had just told her that her uncle's nickname was tuna... need I say more?

Andy, Atley and I also attended the Laurelglen ward's valentine party on Friday night! It was so much fun. There was a band, lights, decorations... who knew that a cultural hall could look this good?! Andy and I judged the chili cook-off, and then desserts. It was really nice to visit with friends, and hear some good music!

Atley ready to go out for our daily walk!

Andy thinks this flower is way too big for her head... but seriously, isn't it cute??

This picture cracks me up. She looks like she's trying so hard to smile for the picture... like an elementary photo or something. I love this brown and pink shirt on her. I think she looks like a little piece of chocolate... and who can resist that? ;)

Andy and Atley chillin' on the couch... nice size comparison huh? She's so teeny.

And finally, mom and baby girl. Just a random picture of the two of us girls hanging out together and loving every minute of it!!
Andy and I finally got to exchange gifts tonight. We were going to do it on valentine's, but I was sick. So we did it during Atley's naptime. He always writes me a really thoughtful note, and he got me some really nice perfume and some chocolates. He's so sweet! Our official valentine's date will be this weekend... and I'm counting on some romance!!
