New Stamp Release! + Giveaway
Monochromatic Foiled Cards

New digital stamps and more inspiration projects by the designers are ready for you! Welcome to our second stamp release by Graciellie Design Digital Shop . We were so happy with the response, comments and support we received last month, that this time we decided to create a beautiful, inspiring and versatile release that we know you'll love! We have a blog hop and giveaway today so we hope you can join the celebration for a chance to win a new digital stamp set of your choice! I made three monochromatic cards for your inspiration, using several images from our new release... On my first card I used the set  You are the Sweetest . I printed and fussy cut this sweet kitty, wrapped ribbon around it and added a big bow. I also printed one of the sentiments and cut a banner. (This image is so detailed and pretty.) I created the foiled lace background using a die cut and a hot melt adhesive sheet, which I ran through my Minc machine. I also foiled the edges of my card base ...

Botanical Cards for Valentine's & Spring
Tutorials with Umbrella Crafts

I'm starting to feel less and less christmas-y and that means you'll start seeing a lot of floral inspiration on the blog. I thought I'd share with you my latest 2 cards made for my social media Fun Friday features... I experimented with a new dye ink and stretched it to the most not knowing how much it's versatility would surprise me in the end. I'm talking about Umbrella Crafts Premium Dye Inks . I was able to stamp, blend, watercolor and even heat emboss (yes, that's right, emboss) with these inks. For my first card I created a beautifully blended ombre background and managed to give it a watercolor feel. I also created ombre flowers. Find the tutorial here . On my second card I used layered stamping with one of Umbrella Crafts Trio Premium Dye Ink Sets and to my own surprise I also heat embossed the stamped flowers in gold using black dye ink (my new favorite)! Find the tutorial here . I think both these cards would work for friendship ...

-Glittered Vellum Poinsettias-
Encouragement Cards for the Holidays & the New Year

The new year is upon us and I thought I'd share an inspirational card with you. I decided to use an encouragement sentiment instead of the usual "happy new year" message on today's card. (I think this could also be great for the Holidays in general.) White and gold continue to be my favorite colors of the season, but this time I also added golden brown! I love Spellbinders dies and the way you can coordinate different sets to layer a card! Here I used around 5 different die sets to layer the background, but the dies coordinate so well together they look like they belong to the same set! Matte gold paper, golden brown, sand beige and off white cardstock... I love how the color combo ended up looking! The gold glittered poinsettias were stamped and heat embossed on 50 pound weight vellum and cut using coordinating dies. I love this glitter embossing powder and I know I will be getting it in silver in the future (love the sparkle)! The encouraging ...

A Blessed Thanksgiving to You
Fall inspired card with deco foil

Today I'm sharing a very layered  Thanksgiving card, in Fall colors and with lots of little leaves in different colors and even some gold foiled ones. I used a beautiful Fall themed paper pad from my stash that had just the perfect tones and patterns for this card. I have been planning this card for a week or two now, so I am glad with how it turned out! I die cut many, many tiny leaves from Impression Obsession from white cardstock, sponged them with Distress Inks in Vintage photo, Old Paper and Peeled Paint and sprayed them with Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spritz from Imagine Crafts. I die cut other leaves with adhesive sheet and foiled them with iCraft Decofoil in Gold. I layered a few other beautiful dies from Spellbinders and Poppystamps and added a piece of gold ribbon and glittered gold lace to finish off my design. I hope you are inspired by today's post! Thanks for stopping by! Sharing with : Poppystamps - Home for the Holidays / SSS Monday - Thanks or Thanksgi...

Dreaming of a White Christmas
gilded & elegant christmas card

I have a confession to make... This year I've been drawn to make white and gold Christmas cards. I can't even think of traditional Christmas colors when I want to make a project! So today's poinsettia card and tutorial translate very well what Christmas is gonna be like this December at home. White and gold look so elegant together! Since the holidays are all about sparkle too, I used one of my favorite glitter techniques and I'm sharing a quick and easy tutorial with you HERE . I created the background myself, layering snowflake stamps in different designs, first in a very light beige, then in gold embossing. Afterwards, I dry embossed the stamped mat with a sutile polka dot design and used a brayer to apply light beige paint to the raised pattern. As for the very layered and beautiful center of the card, I started out with an intricate die cut (see tutorial  HERE ) and continued building layers, with large snowflake die cuts and finally with a large h...
