It amazes me what flowers grow right on the edge of the beach where grass meets and mixes with sands.
This one I found at Safety Beach on the Mornington Peninsula.

Wanderlust

Wanderlust to me is all about getting around - walking, sailing, flying -
and feeling an urgency to enjoy different experiences beyond home.
It is not necessarily a set journey, nor does it require travelling long distances.
It could be as random as getting on a jet ski and wandering the waters of Port Phillip Bay
as the above couple are doing.
I have to get out regularly with my camera.
In my wanderings, I photographed this scene from Safety Beach last January.

Mystery Shadows

A home at Safety Beach casts bold diagonal shadows.
It is almost like extra art on the facade.
What I don't quite understand is what creates the shadows.
It's only a narrow space between the wall and this wooden panel.
Why would there be cross panels?
