NATURE STUDY ..........

OK, well, this was going to be a post done on the new Blogger ! I went into the new Blogger & realised that you click on the red circle with a cross for a new post ..... all good so far. The page loaded and all there was was the first line. .... TITLE .......... publish etc. Nothing to click on to make a post. I've googled it but ..... nothing ! There was a tutorial on YouTube so I know what I should be seeing ! Anyone out there know why I've got nothing ? Would be very grateful for advice. I just knew this would happen to me !!! Maybe my time in Blogland is up !!!

ANYWAY .....

Look what was having lunch in our garden .....

..... a beautiful, golden beetle gobbling up our flowers ! 

After seeing the above, I was going to rush out and collect hundreds and make my fortune but I think mine is a different species !

Nevermind, we will have to make our fortune some other way !

ARGGGGGGHHHHHHH ..........

I had an email from my blogging friend Elizabeth over at The Vintage Contessa telling me that she couldn't comment on my blog !!!

Although things aren't what they were in the blogging world { I used to get 100 comments in the old days but many have left blogging and gone on to other social media sites } but I did think that four comments was a bit low on my last couple of posts !!!!

I even started to think that I might give up my blog .....

..... atychiphobia was starting to set in !!!

I have checked everything on Blogger and all is as it should be, so I think it's Blogger's fault. 

There have been times that I haven't been able to comment and, when that happens to me, I either sign into Blogger again or I look for the blog that I want to comment on on Firefox, as it's usually with Safari that I have the problem. Firefox always seems to be fine. 

One of the nicest parts about blogging and the main reason that I blog and prefer it to any of the other social media sites, is the fact that we interact with such lovely people and can have a ' chat ' ... it is the modern way of having penfriends from all over the world ..... I like to think of my blogging commenter's as friends and it's always a little bit disappointing when we don't get any comments ..... I really have missed you guys over the last few posts but I'm pleased that it's only Blogger and not the fact that you have gone off  of me !!!

I've also noticed that it says  UNFOLLOW under my followers and not FOLLOW and I'm not sure how to fix that either !! 

Anyone who knows how to fix any of these problems, please let me know ... 

Perhaps anyone who reads this could just comment so I know that you can ... by the way, this isn't a way of getting lots of comments !!! haha !!!

LOOK ..... even Shakespeare likes my blog !!!

 Shame that he can't comment !!!

THAT'S TO BLOGGER !!!! ..........

Thanks Blogger ..... I've lost all of my blog links on my sidebar .... apparently they are experiencing a problem !!! ..... I don't want you to think that I've removed you all.

So, if I miss any of your posts, it's not my fault ! 

I've had a look at some of your blogs and you all seem to have yours ..... it must be me. 

Here's hoping I'll get them back !

AMAZED, AGOG, AGHAST !!!! ..........

I'm was in shock ..... utter shock !! I posted one lovely post about how sad I was that our ' By Invitation series was over then, I started to lose followers ..... slowly at first then by the score !!!!!

I was totally confused !! I've hardly lost a follower since I started blogging six years ago ...... the odd one now and again, yes, but, over 100 !! Surely the By Invitation wasn't that popular ?!! .... or my own post that boring !!!!!

I was rather upset ..... I'm not particularly precious about how many followers I've got but, I've worked hard on my blog to accumulate nearly 2,000 followers so, it was a bit of a shock .....

..... a lie down in a dark room was called for !!!!!!!

Now I find out that many of you are losing followers and that it's probably a Blogger issue. Apparently  all of our followers are still there ...... it's just the total figure that's wrong !!! 

SO, 

any of you out there who have never followed me and  would like to help me get my followers back up to speed, feel free to follow me !!!!

..... and, if you are losing followers and you wondered why, at least you know it's not you or your blog !!!!!
