Here are just a couple pictures from my birthday. We went to The Cheesecake Factory and I actually tried a different cheesecake!! I'm a product of familiarity and so after eating half of my usual chicken madeira (in order to rationalize eating the entire piece of cheesecake I saved half for another day), I decided on the lemon raspberry cheesecake. It was really yummy! Plus I still got a bite of the chocolate tuxedo cream cheesecake, which I usually order thanks to mom ordering it. And then theres just a picture with my gifts: mostly cards, but also those are my new Mizuno running shoes and theres some gift cards in there too. Thanks again to everyone!!
On another note: This is for Nikki, and I think Kristal's read all the Plum novels:I made a pineapple upside-down cake on Sunday. I ran out of pineapple rings so the recipe said that you could substitute peaches for the pineapple - not as good by the way.

Torn Between AI, BL & DWTS
So as many of you know, I love my reality TV! I just can't get enough! Lately I've been hating Tuesday's. I hate that some of my favs are all on one night, and the times conflict. I've got The Biggest Loesr, American Idol, and now Dancing with the Stars, and then occasionally there is a Jazz game. Tonight is going to be even harder for me, because I have a RS social that I have to go to. And since I don't have a tivo or dvr I have to use the good ol' VCR and can only tape one thing. So I've decided to tape Biggest Loser and I'm just sending out good vibes for the Jason's!

Thank You
I just wanted to thank everyone that called, texted or expressed their birthday wishes for me yesterday. I ended up taking the whole day off from work (which I've never done before) and was able to do just what I wanted - it was great! I have such great family and friends - thanks for all you do for me!

Happy Birthday Kristal
I just wanted to wish Kristal a very Happy Birthday! It's sad that we are all spread out now and can't see each other on our birthday's, but maybe one day we'll all be able to get together and have a big birthday bash! Kristal - I hope you have an amazing day. Happy Birthday!
PS - some other people that share your birthday are: Eva Longoria, Fabio, and Andrew Jackson (who would be 240 yrs)

Poor Bernie
If you're not a Biggest Loser fan, then you might as well stop reading here. I was really bummed last week when Bernie was sent packing. I love that he gave his immunity to Britney, but I wish that he could have stayed a little longer. And if any of you watched this week's episode you saw how Bernie was the glue that held that black team together. He was so close to coming back too; just 2 pounds shy! I just hope that Britney will stop being furstrated about not pulling the big numbers like the men and just work as hard as she can - and just worry about Britney, no one else.
Anyway, week after week I watch as these contestants get their butts kicked by Jillian and Bob (who I have a total crush on). I really don't know how they do it day after day - I go to my trainer and I feel like he works me dang hard, but I know that my 30 minute session is nothing compared to the hours that these contestants go through! I can't imagine how sore they get from their workouts and they don't get to have a day or two off to rest and re-cooperate they just power through the soreness. It's amazing and really motivating to keep working out and being healthy! For anyone that doesn't watch - you should!

50 Things About Me
Kristal, this is for you and the fact that I'm bored at work, so maybe someone will learn something new about me if you make it through all 50:
1. I am going to Tucson April 17-20th!!
2. I have never used my snooze button - and hopefully I won't offend anyone, but I don't see the point in setting your alarm X (i.e.30+) mins earlier, just to hit your snooze button.
3. I can pop my hip (like some people crack their toes or whatever) pretty much at will
4. I'm addicted to reality tv: Biggest Loser, American Idol, Amazing Race, The Girls Next Door, Dancing with The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, The Bachelor, Dr. 90210 just to name a few
5. I HATE to touch raw meat!
6. I love to get my hair done, and will change my hair color every 8-10 weeks
7. I would love to go with Kristal for some plastic surgery after having kids (Dr. Ray's??)
8. Vacuuming is one chore I don't mind - I love to see the lines on the carpet
9. I eat dessert every day, I especially cannot pass up freshly baked cookies - this is why I work out 6 days a week!
10. I've been to atleast 17 concerts: BSB- 4, 98-1, Toby Keith-2, Tim & Faith-2, Rascal Flatts-3, Brad Paisley-2, and just Tim- 3-4 and I would have gone to Maroon 5 last Oct, but they canceled
11. I love frog eye salad - but only Janet Helland's recipe!
12. I hate when people ask for your opinion or input and then totally disregard it, why did they even ask in the first place!
13. I tend to yell at other drivers a lot, because I think there are a lot of stupid drivers!
14. There are days when I miss doing the dental thing: there's nothing like seeing someones reaction after you've changed their smile (for the better) and seeing their whole personality change because they have a beautiful smile - also I miss a good gum graft.
15. I can name more English Premier League players than NFL and MLB for sure - and possibly even NBA players
16. I have a life size cut out of Stider from Lord of the Rings, aka Viggo Morgenson in my room, and I cannot make myself throw it away, so it's taped to the back of my door
17. Awhile back my brother caught me practicing/playing Guitar Hero one morning, and everyone in my family thought this was so funny, because I was anti- GH when it came out. But now that I've gotten the hang of it, I love playing GH and Rock Band
18. I don't really like to drink water, but I make myself drink 2 water bottle's worth before I can have a diet coke or something else.
19. I love mixing my own drink - lots of ice and then 2/3 diet coke, 1/3 coke.
20. My hair gets so oily - I have to wash it everyday, otherwise it gets so nasty
21. I willingly go in every 4 weeks for my "affirm" appt, which is the most painful 45 mins. that I've ever experienced- and I just keep going in for more. . . .
22. About 2 months ago I started toeat cottage cheese with some kind of fruit 3-4 times a week, before that I could barely gag it down
23. I cannot wait for my birthday - I finally get to go to The Cheesecake Factory!
24. When I made the change from Midvale Family Dental to Watts the one thing that made me nearly turn down the job at Watts, was the fact that I would no longer get to watch Keegan on Thursdays. I loved watching him, but I knew Watts was good job choice.
25. Here's a poor me moment: In 2004 when I went to Europe for two weeks, my boytoy ran into an "old friend" and then went on to date both of us ( I had no idea) for the next 5 months until he finally broke up with me to date her exclusively. They were married less than 8 months later.
26. Movies that I really don't like, which most people would consider classics: Wizard of Oz, The Princess Bride and A Christmas Story.
27. I have never seen: Casablanca or It's a Wonderful Life, which I've heard are both classics too
28. I still have my original drivers license from while I turned 16, I have to go get a new one before the 18th!
29. I've never been skiing or snowboarding
30. My uncle has been in the ICU for 23 days - I haven't been to visit once, I'm a terrible niece, but I just hate to see people sick, when they don't even look like themselves.
31. Another thing that bugs is when someone will ask me to do something and then after I do it - they fix or re-do it. Why didn't they just do it themselves in the first place then, right?!
32. I got to see Les Miserables in London the The Globe Theatre (I think that's what it's called)
33. When Kristal and I used to work at Party Time we would get so annoyed by another co-worker because she smacked her gum so loud! So we would try to smack our gum even louder, but she never seemed to notcie. To this day it still bugs when people smack their gum, or if they chew their food obnoxiously loud.
34. I could have a cup of hot chocolate everyday - all year 'round, not matter what the temperature outside was
35. I hate clowns!! They just freak me out.
36. Jon and I can hold a conversation just by quoting movies/tv shows (especially Friends)
37. I like to cook, but I just don't think that it's fair for the cook to have to do the dishes too.
38. I've been to Island Park and Yellowstone more than a dozen times- every August my family goes up and we always stay in the same camp sites and I've only missed a few years.
39. My only reason for not being a huge fan of camping like everyone else in my family, is I hate not washing my hair and bathing - and it's just not same in a trailer or in the river
40. I hate laying out - I've tried to become a fan, but I just think it's so boring to lay there and do nothing, while I'm smoldering in the heat and sweating
41. I go to People.com daily- I love celebrity gossip!
42. This has taken my about 3.5 hours, because I'll do a few then work a little
43. 2 years ago for my birthday, my dad gave me a Fender acoustic guitar and I still don't know how to play. I'm just not motivated to teach myself - I need to have a teacher or atleast a schedule for myself to sit down and learn, because I look at the guitar everyday and feel guilty for having it and not using it.
44. I have the smartest nephew. He is so cute doing sign language- my favorites: pig, kangaroo, silly and motorcycle and he is so good at his numbers and alphabet already.
45. The clothes in my closet all have to face the same way - towards the back
46. I sucked my thumb until I was probably 7-8 yrs. My mom even tried to put some nasty medication on my thumb to get me to stop, but I just coped with the nastiness
47. I'll be in sunny Mexico next month at this time - hopefully snorkeling or doing something on the beach.
48. Last year when we went on our cruise, one stop was Jamaica and my dad, Jon and I went on a tubbing excursion with a native, Utahn (appropriate for us, right!) and during our entire trip down the river all he did was flirt with me and try to convince my dad that I should stay in Jamaica with him! It was so funny, plus there was another native that tried to get Jon to buy their "special" cigarettes.
49. If I didn't live in Utah, I'd go for So. Cal, if I could afford it or somewhere totally crazy like England.
Ok - I saved a great story for last -
50. A few years ago when Josh and Nikki were getting sealing in the San Diego Temple, I was suppose to meet them at the temple, since I couldn't go with them. So they left me one of the rental cars but no phones - and for some reason I didn't even take my cell phone to CA this trip. So I proceed to drive to the temple following what instructions I was told - after driving what seemed like way to long, I see a sign reading something like: Border - XX miles. I was close! I couldn't believe that I had missed the temple. So I have to ask for directions from people that don't know what a temple is and barely speak English. Needless to say, I had to stop again a little while longer and get more directions, this time from very nice business men that were sympathetic to a teary lost tourist. Turns out I missed the turn off for the right freeway - I eventually made it to the temple (Nikki says that I was like 2.5 hours late) everyone was starving, because we were suppose to go to lunch after the sealing and everyone, but me had a good laugh at my near Tijuana experience!
That was harder than I thought it would be - anyone that wants to do this - go for it! I'd love to hear new and/or interesting things about everyone!

Final Car Payment
I am making my FINAL payment on my car tomorrow!! Can I just say how excited I am to have no car payment!! I'm pretty proud that I've been able to pay it off early too - I was scheduled to make payments until August, but I've been good and paid a little extra each month.
Hooray! Maybe I'll have to do a little shopping with what would normally be my car payment money, next month. My car will now be officially mine!
