Winter Wonderland

We have had a wonderful Christmas. It started the Friday before Christmas with the Rigby Family party. Jays two older brothers weren't in town but the rest of us had a great time. Jay's parents spoiled us. We have a lot of new games and we can't wait to play them.

On Saturday morning we made the drive to Idaho Falls. We had the Croft family Christmas party on Sunday night and had some delicious Prime Rib. I am loving this new tradition! We had a good time watching our niece, Anilyn, open her presents.

We had planned on going to Salt Lake to see Jay's brothers on Monday but there was a snowstorm and we decided we better stay in Idaho Falls. On Tuesday we went to Sun Valley to spend Christmas. on Christmas Eve we went to Sun Valley Lodge to watch the ice skaters and listen to the Carolers. We also got to see the skiiers come down the mountain carrying torches. It looked like lava coming down the mountain. Then there were fireworks. I love Christmas Eve! Grandpa read the Night Before Christmas and peeled oranges for us.

We woke up on Christmas morning to TWO FEET of new snow. It was awesome. Jay and my little brother Justin decided they wanted to make a snow fort. They thought the snow off the driveway would be perfect. We've enjoyed sledding, swimming, playing games and relaxing during our stay in Sun Valley. It is such a magical town.

We'll be heading back to Idaho Falls tomorrow. Jay and my brothers are already planning out the next snow fort. I think I married a teenage boy. Oh well.

We hope you all had a great Christmas too!

Boring

We're pretty boring. I have nothing new to update you on.

We were supposed to go here (Leavenworth) this past weekend.

But the roads looked like this.

After 40 minutes to Colfax from Pullman (normally a 20 minute drive) and passing a serious accident we decided it was best to spend the weekend at home.

We did get our pictures taken.

Thanks Kate Jennings!
This weekend is the Rigby Christmas party. I'm very excited for this. They are going to Utah this year to be with Andy and Amanda. Jay and I are heading to Idaho Falls then Sun Valley for Christmas.
It's snowing right now. Winter storm advisory or something. If only they would close the college and send me home for the day.

Santa Clause is coming to town

Our ward party was on Friday and Santa Clause made a special guest appearance. All the kids in our ward were so excited to see Santa. Jay was with the kids. I couldn't keep him off poor Santa's lap. I'm pretty sure Santa never thought two adults would be sitting on his lap. Otherwise he might have opted out of this special appearance.

Where's Waldo?

Why is it my map at the bottom of this site shows that 76 people have visited yet I only have four people who leave comments? (Thanks Melissa for always leaving a comment)
I'm curious who is blog stalking us. I'm famous for blog stalking. It's pretty likely I blog stalk you. So how about you show yourself and then maybe, just maybe, I'll admit to stalking you.
