Ik koos voor de Fiji-eilanden, het lijkt mij een prachtige bestemming!

Onderaan kun je mijn moodboard zien die ik eerder maakte, de kleuren van het eiland zijn prachtig!

I chose the Fiji-islands, I think it is a wonderful destination!

Ik maakte een ketting met kralen van polymeer klei (die ik zelf maakte), agaat, glaskralen,..

I made a necklace with polymer clay beads (that I made myself), agate stone, glass beads,..

Het kleine bloemetje zorgt voor een leuk accent.
Door deze challenge zou ik heel graag Fiji eens bezoeken en jullie?

Pink Ring

Zomers ringetje met rose bloem.

A ring for the summer, with a pink flower.

De het roosje maakte ik met een mal en polymeer klei.

I made the rose with a mold. I used polymer clay.

Aqua bracelet

Zoals Dymphie op haar blog al vertelde maakte ik een aantal armbanden op aanvraag.

Dit is er één van. 

As Dymphie told on her blog I made a few bracelet on request.

This is one of them..

Ik maakte 5 armbanden in deze stijl, elk in een andere kleur. 

Een roze (toonde ik eerder hier), rode, paarse, zwart-witte en deze in aqua blauw.

I made 5 bracelets in this style each in an other color.

Pink (a few days ago on my blog), red, purple, black'n white and this aqua one.

Ik combineerde voor deze armband allerlei materialen:

 polymeer klei, kunststof kralen, glaskralen, strikjes...

I combined lots of materials :

polymer clay, plastic, glass beads, ribbon bows...

Very Pink Bracelet..

 Ik combineerde allerlei materialen : vilt, polymeer klei, stof, kunststof, glas..

De rose bloem kocht ik bij Zahia. Ik vind de bloem heel mooi van vorm.. 

I bought the pink flower at the Zahia shop. I think the flower has a really nice shape..

Red Red Red...

De grote rode buis is murano glas. Gekocht bij zahia.

Ik vond dit een heel mooi stuk maar niet gemakkelijk te combineren.

This big red tube is murano glass. Bought by zahia.

I think this is a very nice bead but hard to combine.

Deze roos vond ik heel mooi passen bij de andere kralen. 

This rose matched very well with the tube.

Ik probeerde alle soorten materialen en vormen te combineren.

I tried to combine all kinds of materials and shapes.

Tutorial 3 : flowerbeads

In deze tutorial zal ik je tonen hoe je deze eenvoudige bloemenkralen kunt maken!

With this tutorial I will show you how to make these simple flowerbeads!

1. Algemene benodigdheden.

2. De kleuren polymeer klei die ik gebruikte : blauw, groen en wit..

3. De hoeveelheden..

4. Rol de klei in bolletjes.

1. Random supplies.

2. The colors polymer clay I used : blue, green, white..

3. Quantities..

4. Roll the clay into balls.

5. Rol de bolletjes tot een rol van +- 5cm.

6. Snij een stuk van de groene rol en draai ze door de pasta machine.

7 & 8. Wikkel nu de groene plak klei rond de witte rol.

5. Roll the balls into a roll of +- 5 cm.

6. Cut a piece of the green clay and put it into the pasta machine.

7 & 8. Wrap the green sheet of clay around the white roll.

9. Dit zal het hartje van de bloem worden.

10. Rol de blauwe kleur uit tot een rol van 14 cm lang.

11. Verdeel de rol in gelijke stukken.

12. Druk de stukjes aan 1 kant plat zodat je een soort druppelvorm bekomt.

9. This will be the heart of the flower.

10. Make a roll of the blue clay (+- 14cm).

11. Devide the roll into equal pieces.

12. Create a teardrop shape.

13. Doe nu hetzelfde met de groene kleur.

14. Plaats nu de vormpjes rond het hart, zodat je een bloem bekomt.

15. Vul de "gaatjes" zo goed mogelijk op om vervorming te voorkomen.

16. Draai de rest van de groene klei door de pasta machine.

13. Do the same with the green clay.

14. Put the pieces in a circle around the heart.

15. Put pieces of clay in the open spaces to avoid deformation.

16. Put the rest of the green clay into the pasta machine.

17. Wikkel de groene klei rond de bloem

18. Rol  de bloem uit tot een rol van +- 1,5 cm diameter, deze rol heet een "flowercane"

19. Snij nu stukjes van de flowercane weg totdat je een mooie tekening ziet.

20. Snij nu dunne schijfjes van de flowercane.

17. Wrap the green clay around the flower.

18. Mak a roll of the flower, this is now a "flowercane".

19. Cut the flowercane into pieces untill you see a nice flowerprint.

20. Cut the flowercane into small slices.

21. Maak van de resten klei een rol, en snij ze in gelijke stukken.

22. Rol de stukjes tot bolletjes.

23. Bekleed de bolletjes met +- 3 schijfjes.

24. Rol de bolletjes tussen je handpalm en klaar!

21. Make a roll out of the clay leftovers and cut them into equal pieces.

22. Make balls of the pieces.

23. Cover the balls with 3 slices each.

24. Now roll the balls between your hands and done!

Het enige wat je nog moet doen is met een breinaald gaatjes maken in de kralen.

(zie Tutorial 2: make your one beads )

Daarna bak je de kralen volgens de voorschriften op de verpakking.

Wanneer ze afgekoeld zijn kun je ze mat laten of lakken.

Put the beads in the oven, follow the instructions on the package. Set aside to cool down. Either you leave the beads the way they are or you varnish them..
