Deze zomer vonden mijn kleine nichtje en haar ouders deze leuke schelpjes op het strand. 

Er zaten gaatjes in en ze vroegen mij om er een ketting mee te maken voor haar.

This summer my little cousin and her parents found these very cute shells at the beach.

They had tiny holes and they asked me to make a necklace for her with them.

Ik stond versteld van het feit dat de schelpjes allemaal een gaatje hadden op dezelfde plaats, ik had dit nog nooit eerder gezien.

De natuur kan toch mooi zijn :)

Heel leuk om met zo'n natuurlijk materiaal te kunnen werken.

I was amazed by the fact that those shells had little holes all at the same spot, I had never seen this before.

Nature can be beautiful ! :)

It was very nice to work with such a natural material.
