Blog book

Josh started to lay out our blog in a book. It is looking great but taking way to much time. Has anyone had their blog printed in a book or know of anywhere to do it at? Please let us know if you do! Thanks..

Liam

I know these pictures aren't the greatest but it was all I can get of him. When I would ask him to smile he thought it was funny to act like he was picking his nose. Sounds a lot like a joke his Aunt April would of done as kid. We are getting over a yucky cold so ignore the messy face.
I love hearing what Liam has to say. Here is his latest:
I said, "Oh no Liam baby sister spit-up can you run get mommy a rag?" Liam said, "No Mommy baby sister didn't spit-up she spit down!" as he looking at it on the floor.
I said, "Liam what is all over your face?" Liam said, "That's my running nose Mommy!". He was right he had tried to wipe it himself.
"Mommy, did you hear that poo-poo noise?"
He thinks it is so funny to say to us, "I love you duck (or any other animal)!"
"You track (crack) me up Mommy!"
I showed Liam a picture of himself (the one above) and said, "Who is that Liam?" He said, "BUZZ LIGHT YEAR!"
We have been on the road a lot lately we recentlly went to Montrose and before that Idaho. We tend to get fast food when we are traveling. The other day I pulled up to order a smoothie for Liam I thought it might feel good on his throat. I rolled down my window to order and Liam yelled, "Give me my chicken nuggets, french fries and milk shake!"
The list goes on and on. This age has me laughing all the time. It is the greatest and so is Liam!

Chicken Little

Many of you know I like to asign people an animal. We figured out Layla's, Chicken Little. She is such a doll and makes a beautiful chicken little for sure. It is more the glasses then any of her facial features. Mommy thinks she is PERFECT!!! It was Liam's idea to put them on her. In case you are wondering why I haven't posted any cute pictures of Liam lately he runs from me everytime I try to take a picture. He thinks it is funny. I have even tried to bribe him... Hopefully this will pass.

1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant?
Liam: Montana, early one morning
Layla: Utah, friend gave me the test
2- Who was with you?
Liam: Josh was asleep
Layla: All alone
3- How did you find out that you were pregnant?
Liam: Had a feeling
Layla: Friend convinced me to take one
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant?
Liam: Surprised! But couldn't stop smiling
Layla: VERY Surprised, also couldn't stop smiling, nervous to tell Josh
5- Your Husbands reaction?
No comment...
6- Who was the first person you told?
Liam: Josh and then my Mom
Layla: My friend who gave me the test and then Josh when he got home from work
7-Did you plan to get pregnant?
Liam: We had decided we would start trying come to find out I was already pregnant
Layla: No But I was thrilled
8-Was everybody happy for you?
Liam: Yes with good reason
Layla: Yes also with good reason
9- Did you go out and celebrate?
Liam: No I wish
Layla: No I wish
10- Did you want to find out the sex?
Liam: Yes couldn't wait even though I knew he was a boy
Layla: I started out saying I wouldn't but everyone who knows me knew that wouldn’t be the case. We paid to find out early on both kids
11- What was the sex?
Liam: Boy I knew it
Layla: Girl I thought it
12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower?
Liam: My Aunt, Sisters and my dear friend Janna
Layla: My dear friend Brook
13- How much weight did you gain?
Liam: Around 60 (I looked like Rosie Odonald)
Layla: Around 45 and I am getting close to pre-pregnancy weight WA-HOO!!!!
14- Did you lose all of the weight that you gained?
Liam: Love nursing was able to lose it all with out much work pretty quickly
Layla: 10 more pounds to lose but she is only 2 months
15- Did you get a lot of stretch marks?
Liam: Not really
Layla: Not really
16- What did you crave the most?
Liam: It varied I always crave cereal pregnant or not
Layla: The same Just make sure you kept food in me for both otherwise you might see a not so nice Marcie
17- Did you crave anything crazy?
NO
18- Who or what got on your nerves the most?

Liam: When I would see people who didn't take proper care of the pregnancy or children. Moms who diet whle pregnant. Abortion really upset me and still does (who could do that, OBAMA?!?!?!)

19- Were you married at the time?
Liam: Yes
Layla: Yes
20- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
Liam: No
Layla: No
21- Where were you when you went into labor?
Liam: The hospital
Layla: At home
22- Did your water break?
Liam: No
Layla: No
23- Did you go early or late?
Liam: They induced me two days early because he was measuring big. Thank goodness because at his two week appointment he weighed over 11 pounds
Layla: 10 days early
24- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth?
Liam: Josh
Layla: Mom and Josh (April almost made it!) Layla came so quick. Thank goodness because her cord was wrapped around her neck.
25- Was it video taped?
Yuck, No on both!
26- Did you have any drugs for the pain?
Epidural all the way. They are fabulous! I didn't have an epidural for the last 2 hours with Liam (the bad part) there was a mix up and it was a mess. I felt the 4th degree tare episiotomy and everything else! YUCK
27-Did you go vaginal or have a c-section?
Vaginal on both
28- What was your first reaction after giving birth?
Instant love for this beautiful new little spirit. Couldn't be happier!
29- How big was the baby(s)?
Liam: 8.8 Ibs and 21 inches
Layla: 8.6 Ibs and 20 inches
30- Did your Husband cry?
Had tears for both of them
Liam he was relived labor was over. I pushed for 2 hours and things were getting a little scary
Layla he was so happy that it wasn't the same situation. Things went a lot smoother for Layla plus I barely felt anything. Two pushes and she was out! Plus I had an epidural for Layla so things weren't as hard.
31- What did you name the baby(s)?
Liam Hobart Perriton

32-Did the name have any significance to you?
Liam: Hobart is a family name. Both my Grandpa and Uncle have the name. They are wonderful people.
Layla Dee: After Dwyla Dee Josh's mom a very sweet person. Much like Layla
33- Did the baby(s) have any complications?
Liam: Just during the last stage of labor.
Layla: Required extra watching after birth because the cord was around her neck. I hate thinking about it and what could of happend. We are so blessed to have both of our children here.
34- How old is your baby today?
Liam: Turned two December 21
Layla: 2 months
35- When is the next one(s) coming?
Another set of two in a while
36- If you could would you do it all over again?
TOTALLY!!! I love my kids more then anything

Layla's Blessing

We had Layla's Baby Blessing a week ago. It was beautiful and so was sweet little Layla. Having a lot of our family here reminded me of how blessed I am to have the family I have. We have all come a long way and although it may not be the ideal family situation for most I am very pleased with how things have worked out. I feel honered to be able to raise my children with such wonderful Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. I feel the same way about both my family and my inlaws.
I loved finding this dress. I wasn't set on all white but when I saw this dress I LOVED it. Layla smiles all the time and has started the cute baby belly laugh I love so much. I can't imagine our life with out her. I love you so much Layla. Thanks Josh for the beautiful blessing.
