Alpha Legion marines

With a new edition of Horus Heresy just released and me cleaning up and repackaging my hobby area i felt it was time to give these bolter pigs some more love...

The miniatures are not new, previously built and painted but not to this level. I added some white markings, an dark blue oilwash and some more work on the bases.
I felt previously these were a bit boring, being only painted to bare minimum but with the added details they are much better.

Alpha Legion Headhunters

 

With a new edition of Horus Heresy close by I thought it was high time to finish up these Head Hunters that I have had built and half painted for some time. Now with the last steppes finished I got another 12 painted to the collection.

With the Head Hunter bits as a base and then added a lot of different bits, mostly MkVI armour and bits.

Alpha Legion Techmarine

Here we have my converted Alpha Legion Techmarine. Using mostly Mechanicum bits.

Here under is a closer look of the can, a resin bit from Greenstuff world.

And with added UV light to get the flourecent colours to pop...
