A turnê LOVEDRIVE/TOKYO TAPES parou no Casino Monticello em Rancagua, no último dia 16, e, a exemplo do que já havia feito no México – e fará no Brasil – não deixou pedra sobre pedra, desfilando um verdadeiro catálogo de faixas aclamadas e outras mais obscuras [ainda que igualmente favoritas entre os fãs de SCORPIONS, MSG, UFO e da banda solo de ULI JON ROTH] da história do classic rock mundial, em especial o setentista.

Quando o SCORPIONS foi fundado no início dos anos 70, eles nunca pensaram que por suas fileiras iria desfilar um monte de músicos, todos de nível superior, como Michael Schenker, Herman Rarebell e Uli Jon Roth.

Foi também logo no inicio de sua carreira que álbuns ‘Lonesome Crow’ e ‘Virgin Killer’ entraram nos ouvidos de toda a Europa, e houve outros como ‘Lovedrive’ e ‘Tokyo Tapes’ que transcenderiam o território Teutônico até a América distante, e em homenagem a estes material é que Michael Schenker reuniu-se com Uli Jon Roth, o baterista Herman Rarebell, o baixista Francis Buchholz, Doogie White nos vocais e o tecladista Wayne Findlay para lembrar os bons velhos tempos.

Em breve passagem por São Paulo antes do inicio da turnê pelo Brasil alguns dos músicos envolvidos no projeto gravaram uma participação acústica no programa Todo Seu exibido pela Tv Gazeta no ultimo dia 18 de junho.
