Crow uma banda de blues rock com sede em Minneapolis ,  que foi pela primeira vez ativa de 1967 a 1972.. Eles são mais conhecidos para a música "Evil Woman (Don’t Play Your Games With Me),"  que foi, designadamente, gravada pelo Black Sabbath.

Crow  foi formada em 1967 pelo cantor David Wagner, Dick Wiegand guitarrista, o baixista Larry Wiegand, tecladista Kink Middlemist, e o baterista Harry Nehls sob o nome do South 40, que foi usado até o grupo seguiu nacional. Nehls foi substituído por Denny Craswell naquela época  Columbia Records trouxe para gravar uma demo em 1969,.. Eles passaram, e Crow foi assinado para Amaret

A banda queria passar para a Elektra Records, mas Amaret não liberá-los de seu contrato de gravação, mantendo o seu nome  Wagner deixou o grupo em 1971, a banda substituiu-o com Mick Stanhope e tentou avançar, mas caiu para o bem, em 1972  David Wagner gravou um álbum solo para Amaret no final de 1972 com o título:. d / b / a crow.
Eles se separou em 1972, mas reformada novamente em 1980. Esta versão do Crow incluído o vocalista original, David Wagner, John Richardson e Jeff Christensen na guitarra / vocais, Denny Johnson no baixo e Belleville Robby na bateria. Este desempenho de televisão 25-minutos E.U. está actualmente a filmagem apenas pró-shot em circulação da era sabotagem. Era primeira aparição de sábado na Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, uma vitrine da música tarde da noite, que vai de 1973 a 1981. Por muito tempo, nós fomos levados a acreditar que este show foi filmado no Long Beach Arena, em Long Beach, CA, E.U.A., devido principalmente às reivindicações de  alguns colecionadores. Em março de 2004, Dave Tangye definir o recorde reta em seu livro HOW BLACK WAS MY SABBATH.(COMO FOI MY BLACK SABBATH). Estávamos no estado de direito e de fora por alguns dias, mas o filme Don Kirshner é realmente de um show no Santa Monica Civic Center, em Santa Monica, na Califórnia. Eu ainda estou procurando a confirmação sobre a data exata, mas o meu palpite seria setembro 3 ou 4, 1975. O desempenho em si é excelente! A banda está se divertindo e Ozzy tem a sua voz sob controle. O filme nos permite ver a "neve", a banda utilizada durante suas performances de 1975 "Snowblind".

É engraçado ver essas escamas que cobrem a banda como eles jogaram. Você pode ver o material branco por todo o palco para o resto do seu set! Para "Black Sabbath, uma grande cruz de prata foi levantada acima Bill's drum set. Além disso, observe os cravos que adornavam Bill's drum kit. Essa foi uma decoração que tinha adoptado para que a turnê especial. O arranjo de "War Pigs" é um pouco distorcida, como se a banda entrou na seção errada em um ponto. Eles são capazes de recuperar a música sem noticably estragar. Cópias Pristine costumava ser difícil passar por aqui, desde Sabbath Don Kirshner's '75 desempenho só tinha sido retransmitido um punhado de vezes desde o show saiu do ar.  Sempre observar como tantos programas de TV e rádio dos anos 70 seria artificialmente dub em sons multidão ou aumentar os níveis dos aplausos entre as músicas? Muitas vezes, isso soa bastante queijo e obviamente falso. Isso é feito em toda aparência Sabbath Don Kirshner e parece completamente desnecessária, dado que a multidão parecia realmente entusiasmado para começar. Porque não misturar os overdubs em muito suavemente, as notas de abertura de "Snowblind" e "War Pigs" são cortadas. Há ainda parece ser um pequeno editar durante as seções de solo em "War Pigs", como a canção parece mudar artificialmente em um ponto. Eu teria que rever esta novamente para saber se foi um erro intencional, uma banda ou editar. Se fosse uma edição, não foi um que fez um grande sentido para mim. O desempenho em si é boa e é um verdadeiro deleite para ser capaz de ver o vídeo das filmagens de sábado de 1975! Com apenas um punhado de pro-shot clips da banda na década de 70, o Don Kirshner aparição na TV é altamente recomendado a ambos os colecionadores e fãs casuais. Deveria ter sido incluído no BLACK SABBATH STORY, volume 1, mas provavelmente não foi por motivos de licenciamento.
