Christmas Wishes From Jessie

I created this card for the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge SSS30 and for The Play Date Cafe Challenge #4, to use the colors in the color palette above. I used this adorable image from Sweet 'N Sassy called Christmas Cheer. This is the perfect stamp set to have for the dog and cat lover. I will be sending these cards to my family and friends who know my Jessie girl, so the card is really from her. Some of you may think I am crazy for sending cards to people from my dog, but I do not have children so my Mom keeps my dog and she is a granddog to her.....hehehe. My Mom loves her as much as I do.
Anyway, I am happy with the colors, the lay-out, and the image; it all works well together. I could not resist adding the red button, I think it really adds to the whole card. I added chunky glitter to the stocking ends, so cuuuute. The card stock is Prism and the designer paper is SU Thoroughly Modern. I paper pieced the main part of the stocking. I hope you are preparing for Christmas, you know it is only 38 days away, can you believe it? I hope you have a fantastic day and enjoy!

Peaceful Butterflies

Good morning peeps, I have a card creation for you using today's Sweet Stop Sketch, SSS29, the sentiment is from Sweet 'N Sassy set Forget Me Not. I used the SU embossing folder for the main image and added the butterflies that where cut out of the SU Butterfly die, these are stunning. I used Memory Box Jewels for the center of each flower and for the body of the butterfly. The flower around the bow is Imaginisce and they are called Teacher's Bouquet. I also added a Black Corduroy Brad by Ava Creative. The dp is SU Thoroughly Modern. This is a super simple but very sweet card. I hope you have time to play along with the sugar babies this week. Enjoy your Saturday!

Sunbeam Birthday Day Bundle-Owen

If you are looking for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge scroll down one or click here.
Good morning and welcome to the Sweet 'N Sassy Blog Hop. I am bringing to you today one of the new released advance order Sunbeams. There are four different children in the set, you can learn all about each one here. This little guys name is Owen, here is a little about his character.
"He loves memorizing scripture and telling others about Jesus. He wants to be a missionary when he grows up."
This new line of clear stamps consists of 4 characters: Emma, Luke, Owen & Caitlyn. There is a short line that describes each image. Every few months SNSS will release a new series with a different theme. Each series will only be available for a limited time! Our first series is called Birthday Party in honor of our 2nd birthday :).
I colored him with copics and added the sentiment to the bottom. I added some scoring, a scalloped border and the ribbon tied with twine and a button. If you just happened upon my blog and want to see all the children in the set start at the top of this list and continue on the hop.
I hope you enjoy the hop and the new advance order Sunbeam release. Enjoy!

Sweet Flower

Good afternoon, if you are looking for the Verve Believe Blog Hop scroll down or click here.
My card creation today covers several challenges, the first one is the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge SSS27, you can play along and load your creation here. This was a fabulous sketch, I kept my main panel straight rather than on an angle. I used a Sweet 'N Sassy set called Pray Without Ceasing, there are lots more scripture stamp sets over at the Sweet 'N Sassy store, check them out!
I also was inspired by this beautiful necklace from yesterday's IC203 and that fits perfectly with the new challenge I discovered called Just Us Girls JUGS4, to use a 3D flower. I made a paper flower using different designer papers, distressing, and crinkling. I added a button and twine to the center to finish off my flower. I hope you have a wonderful evening and enjoy your time with family and friends! Don't forget to check back in the morning I will be sharing this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch and my creation; you don't want to miss it *wink*!

Merry Christmas

I created this for today's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge, you can see all the Sugar Babies fabulous creations here. Be sure to play along this week, you could win $10 in free digi images from Sweet 'N Sasssy. This weeks sketch comes with a spin, you are to use something recycled. The buttons I used where in my stash of buttons I save from clothing that you buy that comes with an extra button. I am not sure why I haven't put them with all my other buttons, duh; I may need them for my clothes one day. I used the new release Sweet 'N Sassy Digi called O Christmas Tree, this has got to be the cutest tree ever, I adore those Charlie Brown trees. Makes my heart skip a beat...hehehehe. I used prism card stock, of course. Basicgrey Nook and Pantry dp, that I heavily distressed and added a little stitching. I colored with copics and there you have it, my take of this weeks Sweet Stop Sketch with a spin of recycling. Enjoy your Saturday, I am getting together with girlfriends to scrapbook all day!

I have completed another Winter/Christmas card, I think I could make Winter/Christmas cards all year, really. Remember, I am not a big fan of cold weather but I really enjoy creating things for Winter/Christmas. Today I used the Sweet 'N Sassy Stamp set called Snow Friends. I think he is the cutest snow man, I remember seeing him for the first time last year, it was true love, look at is cheery face, so sweet! I am super excited to tell you that all the Winter/Christmas stamps are on sale at SNSS and Korin has put lots of inks, paper, and chipboard on sale too. To see all the stamps that are on sale go here and to see the other sale stuff go here.
I used Prism papers for today's card, I really luv Prism paper, it is so rich and vibrant in color, just gorgeous. Theses colors are some of my favorites Burned, Blush Red Dark, and Island Mist Medium; the dp is My Mind's Eye/Wild Asparagus Merry Christmas Diamond/Red paper, I luv this dp too. I used my Janome to sew the bottom panel, colored the little snowman with copics, I added Martha Stewart glitter to the snowflakes, I added a SU jumbo eyelet with rich chocolate ribbon tied through the sentiment flag tag. I hope you like my Winter/Christmas card creation, this was a super fun sketch. This is also for this weeks The Pink Elephant challenge, to use your favorite color combo. I have lots of favorite colors, but the Prism Burned paper is one of my favorites, it is a color I do not want to be without. I also used a shade of green, by using the Island Mist Medium paper, that counts, doesn't it? I like almost all shades of green or colors that have the same hue. You can learn about TPE21 here.
I hope you have a blessed July 4 weekend, remember today is about our Independence, take time to reflect on that day that made history. You can go here to read some of the details about the Writing the Declaration of Independence. Have a safe and enjoyable day!
