Let it Snow.....

Snow is the theme this week for both the Papertake weekly challenge and Cute Card Thursday Challenge 37 and I based this card on Laura's Sketch 13 from 2 Sketches 4 You. I used white, blue and dark blue metallic card (I thought I had finished this lovely card but I found another sheet Yipee!), paper from the dovecraft winter wonderland range, the penny black image is coloured with whispers pens and I have finished off with three small jewels and three punched snowflakes.
For the Tag I inked the edges with my silver ink pad, the sentiment and snowflake are silver peel offs and I have attached the tassels with a silver brad.

2 Sketches 4 You - Laura's Sketch 8

Another fab sketch from Laura on 2 Sketches 4 You this week and I am on a roll with the Christmas cards!!! I have used white and red card, the paper is a free download from printables heaven, I coloured the penny black image with my whispers markers and I did the sentiment on my computer using the font segoe script.

CCT Challenge 26 & 2S4U Sketch 8

I have managed to make a card for two challenges with this one. I have followed the sketch on 2 Sketches 4 You and the Cute Card Thursday Challenge was to use the colour pink. The image is a penny black stamp coloured in with whispers markers - unfortunately my novice colouring really shows through here! - the papers are from the Dovecraft Amethyst range and they are matted onto cream card, the sentiment is a silver peel off and I have added an iridescent flower and 2 little jems to finish it off. I started this card last night but ended up taking some bits off and starting again, I wasn't really sure where I was going with it..... and to be honest I'm not really sure where it has ended up!!!... hey ho, I'll live and learn!
