Jingle Jangle
Hello everyone, I have finally managed to get a card made using stamps from the Magnolia Christmas Story Collection 2012. Having a new baby takes up sooooo much time!!! I am entering this card for the following challenges; Simply Magnolia Challenge has a sketch to follow this week, the Magnolia-licious November Challenge has a theme of something hidden (Tag), Totally Tilda Challenge 60 has a christmas recipe challenge, Stamptacular Challenge 190 has a recipe challenge and Creative Card Crew Challenge 24 has a theme of anything goes.
For the front of my card I have used Jingle Jangle Tilda and she is coloured with copics and highlighted with stickles. I have inked around my image with spun sugar distress ink and I have stamped the jingle jangle snowflake in the same colour. The DP is from basic grey and I have used a DooHickey die for the decorative edge.
For the inside of my card I have used Tilda with 2 little gifts and she is coloured with copics. I have inked the edges with spun sugar and once again stamped them with the jingle jangle snowflake.
Finally, I have created a hidden tag and for this I stamped the Merry Christmas text stamp.
Supplies
Card/Paper: White and pink card. Basic Grey - Eskimo Kisses
Stamps: Magnolia - Jingle Jangle Tilda, Tilda with 2 Little Gifts, Jingle Jangle Snowflake, Merry Christmas Text - Christmas Story Collection 2012
Colouring: Copics. Spun sugar distress ink

Pure Balm of Friendship
Hello everyone, today I have a bit of home decor to show you.....I have made this picture as a gift......a while ago my sister asked me to make a card for her to give to her friend (HERE) and her friend liked it so much she decided to frame it.....well I thought it was a great idea to make another one as a gift so here it is!! I am entering this into the following challenges; Stamptacular Challenge 181 has a theme of less is more, and Totally Papercrafts Challenge 134 has a theme of use your favourite stamp.
The frame is just a cheap wooden frame that I painted with white matt paint and it measures 7 x 5 inches. The backing or mount is just a piece of plain white card then I cut card and DP to the relevant sizes so they fit evenly. I distressed each element with antique linen distress ink and edged each one with a little vintage photo. The DP is from Melissa Frances and the stamp is from WMS - Rescue Remedies Set. I finished off with some pearls, lace and ribbon all from the Ribbon Girl.
Finally, an arty photo! I'm really pleased with how this has turned out and I will be doing some more in the future.
I am due to have my baby on Friday so I will be absent for a while. I have several posts scheduled so hopefully blogger will do what he is supposed to but I am afraid I probably won't be commenting for a little while.....so see you all again soon. xx
Supplies
Card/Paper: White card. Melissa Frances - 5th Avenue
Stamps: WMS - Rescue Remedies
Ink: Distress inks - Antique Linen, Vintage Photo
Embellishments: Lace, ribbon, pearls.
Tools: Trouvaille, sewing machine, nesties

Honeybee Tilda
Hello everyone, today I have a card to show you that features a couple of stamps from the new Magnolia collection Summer Memories 2012. I am entering it into the following challenges; Totally Tilda Challenge 45 has a theme of stitching, this week's Simon Says has a theme of anything goes and Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 161 has a theme of spring bling.
For my card I have used the Honeybee Tilda and Meadow Daisy stamps and they are coloured with copics. This was my second attempt.....on my first one I coloured my image then decided to sponge in the sky background, well I made a total pigs ear of it and it ended up in the bin.....so for this one I did my cloud background first, it is a little pale and I definitely need more practice!!! My DP is from Echo Park and I kept my layout simple as the image is quite large. I finished off with a double layer of ribbon, some stitching and jewels.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Black and white card. Echo Park - Country Drive
Stamps: Magnolia - Honeybee Tilda, Meadow Daisy - Summer Memories Collection 2012
Colouring: Copics - E00, E11, R20, E04, E08, YG00, YG11, YG03, G21, YG67, Y21, YR23, E35, E37, R00, R02, R05, C1, C3, C5, C7, 100, 0. Broken China Distress ink (sky background)

Seasons Greetings
Hello everyone, I have a couple of cards to show you today, and yippee!! only a few more christmas cards to go! I am entering my cards into the following challenges: Creative Card Crew has a theme of tis the season, Papertake has a theme of anything goes, Simon Says has a photo inspiration - I have chosen the image with the poinsettia, and finally Stamptacular Challenge 142 has a theme of christmas glitz.
The first one is made using stamps from my Waltzingmouse very vintage christmas set..... I cut out a circle with a nestie, while is was still in the die I sponged the card with antique linen distress ink then stamped some snowflakes, finally I stamped my sentiment with memento tuxedo black ink. The DP is from basic grey and I made the poinsettia using marianne creatables dies..... I cut the first layer of my flower from red card then I sponged it with fired brick distress ink while it was still in the die, I repeated it again with red then once again with green card. I then shaped each of the layers using a ball tool and a mouse mat and then I glued them all together. The centre was cut with black card, shaped and popped in the middle. Finally, I added some swirls cut from a marianne creatables die, some ribbon and jewels.
For my second card I used the same layout.....I worked well with my first one so I thought why not!!! I used a frame from my Waltzingmouse vintage labels four set, stamped it with memento then coloured it using a copic marker, finally I used a sentiment from the very vintage christmas set. I made the spirelli using bakers twine and a scalloped circle, and I added a button and a heart shaped jewel to the centre. I finished off with some die cut swirls, ribbon and jewels.
Finally, I have a bit of a toot....one of my jewellery sets made it onto the front page of Etsy yesterday, I was so chuffed!!
Supplies
Card/Paper: White, cream, kraft, pink card. Basic grey
Stamps: Waltzingmouse - Very vintage christmas, vintage labels 4
Colouring: Distress ink - fired brick, peeled paint, antique linen. Copic - R81
Embellishments: Button, jewels, ribbon
Tools: Nesties, sewing machine, marianne dies

Tilda with Cross Stitch Heart
Hello everyone, for my card today I have used some more stamps from the new Magnolia collection. I am entering this card into the following challenges; this week's Papertake has a theme of christmas, Simply Magnolia has a theme of anything goes, Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 138 has a theme of punch it, and Totally Tilda Challenge 35 has a christmas theme but no reds, greens or blues.
For my card I decided to go with a mainly white theme, the card base and the card I have used for my embossed panels are two different types hence the colour difference! I have used Tilda with Cross Stitch Heart from the Magnolia Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011 and I have coloured her with copics. I used my snowflakes folder and a craft concepts embossing folder called cottage floral. I used a MS PATP punch for tilda to sit on and some ribbon and jewels to finish off.
For the inside I used an ink blending tool and weathered wood distress ink to distress the edges then I stamped the Sweet Yuletide Christmas Hat with weathered wood distress ink.
Supplies
Card/Paper: White card
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda with Cross Stitch Heart, Sweet Yuletide Christmas Hat - Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011
Colouring: Copics
Embellishments: Ribbon, jewels
Tools: Sewing machine, TH ink blending tool, MS punch, snowflake embossing folder, cottage floral embossing folder, trouvaille

For my card I have used a digi image from Create4fun called Timothy Golf and it is coloured with copics. I am also entering this card for the following challenges; this week's Papertake has a theme of cute and both Magnolia Down Under Challenge 56 and Stamptacular Challenge 69 have themes of christmas in July.
For my card I have used Christmas Party Tilda from the Magnolia So Jolly and Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009 and I have coloured her with copics and embellished with stickles. My lush DP is from fancy pants and the sentiment is from WOJ. Instead of cutting my card quite close to the image I decided to leave it larger to give more focus to Tilda and I quite like the look! Of course, with a larger image I kept the layout very simple and I embellished with jewels and ribbon from my stash.

Cupcake Challenge 95
Hello everyone, today on Cupcake Challenge 95 we have a theme of One for the Boys and this week we are sponsored by Digital Delights and they are giving us a £10 gift voucher as a prize. I am also entering this card for the following challenges; Totally Gorjuss Challenge 34 has a theme of one for the boys and Stamptacular Challenge 63 also has a theme of men.
The image I have used is from Mo's Digital Pencil and it is called Paul Texting, it is just great for those awkward teenage boy cards! I have coloured the image with copics then distressed the edges with antique linen and walnut stain. Distressing is someting I struggle with but I have found that since I have got my copics my inks are just sitting gathering dust so I am going to try and use them more often as I really love how distressing around the edges of my image has really made the image itself stand out..... well I think so anyway!!! My DPs are from MME and they have also had the distressing treatment. I also missed out my usual mat layer under my DPs, I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it is growing on me!! As it is a male card my embellishments are minimal, just some brads and a TH ticket.
Supplies
Card/Paper: Brown and cream card, MME - Wild Asparagus
Stamps: Mo's Digital Pencil - Paul Texting
Colouring: Copics - E00, E11, R20, B93, B95, B97, E50, E51, E53, E57, E43, E47, E49, G21, G94, G99, W1, W3, W7, W7, C1, C3, C5, 0. Distress inks - walnut stain, antique linen, weathered wood.

Hello everyone, today over on Stamptacular Challenge 49 we have a theme of "You, me and baby makes three" and we would like to see cards or projects for a new baby. This week we are sponsored by Magnolia Down Under and they are giving us the fabulous prize of Ladybug Tilda from the Raising the Ceiling and Right Through my Heart Collection 2010.
This week I have made a matching card and gift bag set and I have used Bunny Tilda from the new Hoppy Easter Collection 2010. She is just the cutest and I think perfect for use on an easter card or a new baby card.
I have coloured her with copics and hightlighted her cheeks with my inkssentials pen. The DP I have used is a download and I have stitched around all the elements with my sewing machine. The ribbon and jewels are from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated.
For my gift bag I have altered a brown paper bag, very easy and so effective! I have co-ordinated everything so it matches my card.
This is an image of the back of the bag, the sentiment is computer generated. The rest of the DT have made some awesome cards and projects, so pop on over and join in.
Also, we have another Stamptacular Blog hop on March 28th. It promises to be loads of fun and there are many prizes along the way, so mark up the date on your calendar!

Stamptacular Challenge 48 & a DT Call
Hello everyone, today over on Stamptacular Challenge 48 we have a theme of "Going back in Time" and we would like to see a card or project that looks vintage or includes something that reminds you of many years ago.
We have visitors at the moment and I haven't had the chance to make my DT card, so I am going to sit this one out. The rest of the DT have made some fabulous cards and they have provided lots of inspiration for you, so pop over and join in with the fun.
We also have a DT call out on the blog at the moment. We have come to the end of another 6 month term and need some new recruits! I have just copied the text below directly from the SSC blog:
We will be celebrating our FIRST YEAR Anniversary here at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge soon...So, what does that mean? It means...it's time for a DT call!
I have been so fortunate to have the PERFECT Design Team members to help me make our challenge blog just as fantastic as some of the others here on the internet. It's been a FANTASTIC journey so far...and with the support my DT and all our participants...life just doesn't get any better than this!
So having said that, it's time to start thinking about our future and adding to our team! Below are some requirements that each DT MUST fulfill in order to be a member of our team. If these are things you feel you are able to commit to, please follow the submission instructions so you can apply for a position on our team!
Want to be a part of the Stamptacular Design Team? As a DT member you will be required to:
* Submit a completed project weekly, via e-mail, following the challenge requirements, no later than midnight (EST) the THURSDAY before the challenge is posted to the blog! You will get ALL of the challenges in plenty of time to allow you to complete them before the due date!
* Take excellent quality photos of your completed projects.
* Post positive comments on ALL participants' blogs sometime during the week of the particular challenge they participate in. NO EXCEPTIONS! Comments MUST be specific to each entry! MUST be done before midnight (EST) Saturday before a new challenge is revealed on our challenge blog!
* SCHEDULE/POST your weekly challenge creations on your blog each week at 6:00AM Eastern Standard Time!
* Be an active DT member of our Sunday Challenge Blog, share with me any and all challenge ideas you may have and want to see as one of our blog challenges, and HOST challenges, if needed.
* Help to find sponsors willing to donate prizes for our challenges (this can be friends, companies or yourself)
* Be open and honest with me when you feel there's a problem or something needs to be addressed or anytime you just want to chit chat.
* ENJOY participating and being part of the Stamptacular DT!
ALL ACCEPTED DESIGN TEAM MEMBERS MUST AGREE TO AND FULFILL A SIX (6) MONTH COMMITMENT! (April 2010 through September 2010)
If the above sounds like something you would like to be a part of and you're interested in becoming a Design Team member for our Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog, PLEASE e-mail me 3-5 samples of your BEST work...at least ONE of your submissions MUST be something other than a greeting card and ALL submissions MUST contain stamping! No scrapbook layouts, please!
Please e-mail your submissions to misscill@yahoo.com by midnight (EST) February 25th, 2010 to qualify. Accepted Design Team members will be notified no later than Sunday February 28th, 2010.
NOTE: be sure to put STAMPTACULAR DT CALL in the subject heading of your e-mail to be sure it doesn't get overlooked!
DO NOT POST A COMMENT HERE TELLING ME TO LOOK AT YOUR WORK ON YOUR BLOG...YOU MUST SEND AN E-MAIL WITH YOUR CHOICE OF 3-5 SUBMISSIONS OF YOUR BEST WORK IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED! You can, however, post on here and let me know that you would like to be considered to be a part of the team and have sent your e-mail.
Good Luck,
Priscilla

Stamptacular Challenge 47
Hello everyone, today over on Stamptacular Challenge 47 we have a theme of "Going in Circles" and we would like to see some circles on your cards or projects. We are sponsored once again this week by our regular sponsor Simon Says Stamp and they are giving us the fabulous prize of a $25 gift certificate + free shipping.
For my card I have used one of my treasured Karen Lockhart stamps and it is coloured with copics. My DP is from doodlebug and I have stitched around the edges with my sewing machine. All of my circles were cut with nesties and the embossing has been done with my paisley folder.
