Uma jóia de pedra / A jewel in stone

Quase escondida entre a igreja e as ruínas do convento de S. Francisco, encontra-se uma preciosa jóia de pedra: A pequena capela de São Frutuoso, datada do século VII.
Mesmo com o convento em ruínas, todo este conjunto inserido num núcleo rural que faz esquecer o quão freneticamente as áreas em redor se têm vindo a suburbanizar, é muito agradável à vista e não tem preço o bocado agradável que aqui passei a desenhá-lo.
Acabado o trabalho, pude ainda visitar o interior da igreja cujas portas entretanto se abriram, e vi por lá muitos mais desenhos à espera de serem feitos.
Almost hidden between the church and the ruins of the São Francisco convent, there's a precious jewel in stone: The small chapel of São Frutuoso, built in the 7th century. 
Even with the convent in its ruins, all this group of buildings in a rural settlement that makes forget how frantically the surrounding area has become suburbanized, is very pleasant to the eye and the moment I spent sketching it was priceless. 
After finishing, still could visit the church interior, its doors opened meanwhile, and saw plenty of other sketches waiting to be done.
