One more Ottoman BO at Wien in Sept. 1683

One more variant of the Turkish BO at Wien (see also: link1 & link2) from: Journal de tout ce qui s'est passé entre les Impériaux et les Turcs: durant la campagne de l'année 1683 et 1684, P. 111-113.
Author wrote that the BO is based on papers gathered near Vizir's tent after the battle. But IMHO it's not 100% profound. Pay attention that this BO is very close to that one (link), but is slightly differed in some details.

Kurfurst Max Emanuel agreed to provide the Emperor an Auxiliary Corps of 8,200 men: 4,800 of infantry & 3,400 of cavalry. Corps commander was Generalfeldmarschall-Leutnant Degenfeld. It composed of the following troops:
Infantrie (4): Degenfeld, Steinau, Preysing, Berlo (later Mercy) - each regiment was of 6 coys 200 men each (see more, link). First Perouse Foot was to participate in the campaign, but on 15 of July it was replaced by Preysing.
Reiterie (4): Bartls (Munster), Haraucort (Arco), Beauvau, Schutz - each regiment was of 6 coys of 101 men (see more link 1 & link 2).
Dragoner, two half (halb) regiments or squadrons: Red & Blue, each of 4 coys
Artilerie: 26 regimental pieces, 20 field pieces & 2 mortars with 1,022 horses & 287 men
Cavalry was divided into 2 brigades:
- GWM von Munster: Munster & Schutz, Blaue Dragoner
- GWM Marquis von Beauvau: Beauvau & Arco, Rote Dragoner

The Riders of the Blue King by Dr. A. Benkert (Bavarian cavalry in Vienna campaign 1683)

I found an old article by Dr. A. Benkert about Bavarian cavalry during the war with Turks 1683-1699 in my papers. It was published in Vedette magazine in Vol. 9 No 3 (Fall 1973!). In spite of its age it is still useful.

Saxon troops sent to Wien (Vienna), end of July 1683

Saxony sent in the end of July 1683 a Corps of 10,454 men to support Austrians. It consisted of 3,194 cavalry (Trabanten, 4 Cuirassier and a Dragoon regiments) & 7,073 infantry (13 battalions: 6 regiments of 2 & converged grenadier battalion). Artillery was of 16 cannons with 187 men.

Siege of Wien in 1683 by R. de Hooghe

For the publisher Nicolaas Visscher II (1649-1702), engraver Romeyn de Hooghe (1645-1708) prepared a series of 8 prints in which the complete history of the siege is being depicted. De Hooghe did not attend the siege himself but used drawings made by Jacobus Peeters from Antwerp.
