Introvert Living For God, It's Okay

A private life is a happy life.

Micah 6 (KJV)
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Psalm 91 (KJV)
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare (net) of the fowler (hunter of birds), and from the noisome (unpleasant) pestilence (a fatal epidemic disease, especially bubonic plague).
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler (protection).

Matthew 6 (KJV)

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

2 Corinthians 6 (KJV)
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

Psalm 131 (KJV)
1 Lord, my heart is not haughty (conceited), nor mine eyes lofty (pompous): neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned (separated) of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned (foster) child.

1 Timothy 2 (KJV)
1 I exhort (strongly encourage) therefore, that, first of all, supplications (earnestly asking), prayers, intercessions (mediating between two parties), and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Matthew 6 (KJV)
16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance (a person's face or facial expression.): for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Fasting should be between you and God only. Make sure you keep yourself up during this time. Meaning your face may appear to look a bit off, keep it moisturized and healthy looking. If you have to exfoliate do that. Also, keep your breath fresh. Chew on some parsley, mint, ginger. You can also freshen it with ACV (Bragg's raw). When fasting your body releases toxins which is so beneficial to your body and spirit. During this time your brain cells increase and with that happening you become more in tune with your spirit. You will find yourself leaning more to the Holy Spirit rather than your emotions. Very rewarding! You will see growth and change in your spiritual abilities. ~ Karmen

Quietness

Ecclesiastes 9 (KJV)
17 The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.

Proverbs 17 (KJV)
17 Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife (fighting, disagreements).

1 Chronicles 4 (KJV)

40 And they found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for they of Ham had dwelt there of old.

Isaiah 32 (KJV)

1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert (secret) from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken (listen attentively).
4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers (stuttering) shall be ready to speak plainly.

5 The vile (nasty) person shall be no more called liberal (unrestricted), nor the churl (barbarian) said to be bountiful (handsome).

8 But the liberal (unrestricted)  deviseth liberal (open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values.) things; and by liberal (unrestricted) things shall he stand.

17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

Lamentations 3 (KJV)

22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

24 The Lord is my portion (help), saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation (deliverance from sin and its consequences.) of the Lord.

31 For the Lord will not cast off for ever:
32 But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
33 For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

36 To subvert (undermine the power and authority of (an established system or institution).) a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.
37 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

38 Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?
39 Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.
41 Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

44 Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.

56 Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.

57 Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.
58 O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.
59 O Lord, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.

Isaiah 14 (KJV)

3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

24 The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

1 Peter 3 (KJV)

1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection (in authority) to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
2 While they behold your chaste (modest) conversation coupled with fear.
3 Whose adorning (beauty) let it not be that outward adorning (enhancing) of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection (in authority) unto their own husbands:
6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful (compassionate), be courteous:
9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing (stumbling block) for railing (stumbling block): but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

15 But sanctify (make holy) the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

1 Thessalonians 4 (KJV)

3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification (process of becoming holy), that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification (process of becoming holy) and honour;

5 Not in the lust of concupiscence (lust), even as the Gentiles which know not God:
6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

8 He therefore that despiseth (hates), despiseth (hates) not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
