SPRING BLIZZARD

Last weekend it was 79 degrees and yesterday we had a blizzard - this is why I LOVE Colorado! Ryan came home early from work because the roads were getting so bad (it took him almost 2 1/2 hours to get home and it normally takes about 40 minutes). It has been fun having "snow days" with daddy!! Now the sun is out and the streets are dry, but there is PLENTY of snow to have sooo much fun!!!

The snow is so heavy that the kids are able to sit on the sleds without them sinking into the snow, and when I was kneeling down the snow came up past my knees!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

So this is a little late, but I thought I'd post a few photos from our day. We really loved "Our green day" as Jordan called it (he keeps asking me when we are going to have a blue day)!!! We started out with some green pancakes (Jordan loved putting in the food coloring and watching it "magically" turn green), then my very good friend Kelly and her two adorable little girls came over and we made sugar cookies and had green mac-n-cheese for lunch. We loved our green day!!!
