Happy 29th Birthday

My birthday this year fell on Thanksgiving day, so we had lots of celebrating going on. Ryan took me out to one of the most delicious restaurants I had ever been to downtown and then to a comedy club - we had so much fun. My kids spoiled me with gifts (thanks Ryan) and some awesome balloons (which are staying strong and still up in the air - amazing). Ryan made some great chocolate chip pancakes - so sweet. We of course celebrated with the whole family on Thanksgiving and I got to have candles in my pumpkin pie - loved it. Then last night my best girls got together to have a party for me - I love these girls. What an amazing couple of weeks - I love celebrating for a few weeks, not just on my actual birthday!!!

I only have photos from the party last night. Sorry.

Ryan's Birthday

A couple weeks ago we celebrated Ryan's 31st birthday (but if you ask him he is only 16!!) We had a family party and the little kids loved helping him blow out the candles. We love you Ryan - you are, simply put ... THE BEST!!! Hope you had a great birthday, you deserve it.

A little photo shoot

A few weeks ago I decided to take the kids out for a little photo shoot and I was able to get SO many cute pics. How I love these kids!

Happy Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. Jordan and Kate were so excited about dressing up - as you will see in these photos, they wore many different costumes, one to a little Halloween party my friends had, one to a "Trick-or-treat" street at Mountain Vista High School, one to our ward halloween party, and one the night of Halloween. We have more candy than we know what to do with, but it will satisfy my sweet tooth for awhile :)

Winnie-the-pooh: just for fun

Jordan's 5!!!

I can't believe that Jordan is already 5. He is so much fun and I absolutely love this age. He is fun to talk to, to play games with, really I just love to be around him. I love this boy.

He is all boy, so when we asked him what kind of birthday party he wanted to have, he said, "A football party and I want to play a football game." Love it. So that's exactly what we did. He had a great time. He had been asking for his very own football helmet for about 2 months, so he was SO excited when he opened up his very own football uniform, complete with football pants, and plastic pads to go in the jersey. And his very own FOOTBALL HELMET!! He wears it almost everywhere we go. We love you Jordan!!!

Our sweet little Kate turned 2 on Monday. I can not believe that she is already 2 - where has the time gone? Kate is truly a firecracker that is always on the move. She is a little chatter box that never stops talking from sun up to sun down and we wouldn't have it any other way. She is her Dad's little princess and knows how to get whatever she wants from him. It is hard to say no to such a sweet face. We feel so grateful to have her as part of our family and look forward to the next year of experiencing the terrific two's. Happy Birthday Kate!!!

Whenever someone asks Kate how old she is, this is the response you will get - two fingers held right by her mouth. She is a silly girl.

We had a family party for Kate - we love living close to both sides of our families!!

Kate loves Mickey & Minnie Mouse, so I made this cake for her. She is still talking about it.

So excited to open her presents.

Who better to have a "hot chocolate" party with than your brother and 3 boy cousins. Love it!!

(Sorry this photo is sideways) - Kate & her buddy Colton are 2 days apart and we had a little party for them - aren't they just the cutest!!

SOCCER STUD

I have lost that bloggin' feeling, and so I have been a HUGE slacker in updating our blog. But I decided to put up some photos of Jordan playing soccer. He started his 1st season of soccer this past year and LOVED IT. He is almost an entire year younger than everyone on his team and is quite a bit smaller than everyone, but he is a great player. He would get out there and steal the ball from the other team, he would defend his goal, and he would make at least 4 goals every game. We signed him up to play again and it will start in March - He can't wait. He has been practicing in the backyard with anyone that will play with him, and working on his quickness (as he says, "Mom, I can run really fast now, so you will never be able to beat me in soccer.") We love this boy so much and are so grateful to be his mom and dad and to watch him grow and develop into such a sweet and loving boy.
