Jordan's Stitches

Almost 2 weeks ago Jordan received his first set of stitches. We were at McDonald's just the two of us eating a delicious ice cream cone, and he was distracted and fell off the bench he was standing on and hit the corner of a brick planter box. We wound up in the urgent care and left with 3 stitches. He was amazing. He stopped crying on the way to the Dr. and he hasn't cried about it since. Here are some photos of us while we waited for the Dr. to come in and see us (this is how I distracted him from the pain and we had a lot of fun taking silly photos). The one with Jordan sitting on the "huge" chair is where they wrapped him up like a burrito and layed him down to stitch his head up. He was so tired, he actually fell asleep while they were stitching him up. And he barely flinched when they gave him two shots in the head to numb the area - he is one TOUGH boy!!! He loves his stitches and is soooo proud of them! He is definitely ALL boy!

Our 4th of July

So I am a little behind in my blogging, so I'll try to catch up. FWe had a great 4th of July. We started off with a parade, which Jordan loved to see all the "cool cars" and Kate loved the candy. We they went to a breakfast at our neighbors home and it was fun to meet all the neighbors we didn't know. Later that afternoon we had a bbq with lots of great friends and had fireworks for the kids to do. Later that night we lite off our own fireworks with Scott & Tami and boys and my mom and dad. We had a great day!!!!
