I LOVE Primary -Mailbox

I was asked to decorate this mailbox for our church primary children's class. This box will hold a special gift for a child when they have a birthday. I liked how it turned out.

I used Doodletype cricut cartridge for the "I LOVE Primary". Using my gypsy I welded the letters together.
The new Birthday Bash cartridge was used for the "Happy Birthday" from pg. 42 of the handbook. I cut it out three times in blue, yellow and red then just over lapped them just a bit to create a shadow. The balloons were cut from the same cartridge, I cut 6 two of each color and one of each color being "flipped" so I could adhere them together. I added thin wire to the balloons for the string. Red ric-rack gave it a finishing touch. Super cute!!

Pilgrim Frame Give Thanks -A Childs Year Cartridge

I'm guest designer at Everyday Cricut all week long.

Thanksgiving is a time of thanks, a time to gather family and friends together and eat all day long... ok some where in there we take a nap.

Today I'm sharing a lovely Thanksgiving card that I designed in Design Studio, I've used three cartridges for this card, A Child's Year for the pilgrim people, George and Basic Shapes for the oval frames and the rectangle layers, then I used Doodletype for the words "Give Thanks"
I do have a cut file available at the end of this post.

For details about this project please visit Everyday Cricut -HERE.

Yummy Cool Treat -Challenge me Monday

Are you ready for another great Fantabulous Cricut Challenge? There is so much fun inspiration this week, you'll have to check it out.

Another "Challenge me Monday" at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!!!

Challenge #18
Cool Yummy Treat w/ optional shape card/project
Create a shape card (not required, just suggested) using ice cream, watermelon etc on your project.

One of my favorite summer time treats a cherry popsicle, so refreshing.
I have a design studio cut file at the end of this post.

I chose to make a Popsicle shape card with a clear (wrapper) sleeve. Card size is approx. 3 3/4" x 5 1/2". I used 4 cartridges for this project, and design Studio.
The cartridges... Doodlecharms for the popsicle, Doodletype for the word "popsicle", George and Basic Shapes for the oval, and From my Kitchen for the cherries.

Just think, you could do different colors of popsicles for you favorite flavors, like yellow for banana flavor, then add a banana instead of a cherry on the "wrapper", or how about grape... hmmm what could you do for the yummy rootbeer flavor. :)

Thank you for visiting, I love visitors and comments!!

Creepy Crawler - Challenge Me Monday

Challenge me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut Woo Hoo!!!

Challenge #16
Creepy Crawlers w/ Orange
Create a project using any type of bug and the color orange somewhere on your project.

Snails to me are really creepy crawlers, slimy and yucky! .... but not this snail she is a cute as can be with her flower and orange gingham bow on her head.

I used Create A Critter for the snail, the word special and the large background "postage stamp" shape, then Doodletype cartridge was used for the U R letters.

The snail and accessories are on page 67 of the handbook. The postage stamp was cut at 5" the snail and accessories cut at 2 1/2" (no real dial size, so everything was cut in the correct proportion). The word special was cut at 1 1/4" cutting twice once in orange then again in black for a shadow effect.
The U R was cut at 3/4" again twice each.
